Just dont make this thread on general board, usually I make FIBA tournament threads, I put a lot of code work in the first post.

France team looks pretty good. we have few sick on USA teams : Serbia, France, Australia and Canada look amazing in particular. I just hope Lithuanians upset either Canada or Australia, if we dont get out of the group, it will be national disaster.

This should be an exciting world Cup, plenty of teams that could be competing for medals.

Same for Finland, as they blew a 24pt lead in the last deciding game vs. Russia and did not qualify.

That sucked. I always root for Finland :(

No Harden, no AD, no CJ... Guess Pop won’t have a hard time selecting the final roster. Last time he was on the coaching staff was 2004, I believe. This team could run into similar problems if key guys keep dropping out.

Gonna need someone to step up at the 4... every other position looks good to great... on paper, anyway

Pop is just doing it for **** n giggles at this stage. I think he'll be lighthearted which could actually work in their favor... less pressure, anyway

I imagine Batum will be the 4, right? De Colo beside playing SG wingman, might play back up PG, as there is no good replacement for Huertel, then Fournier, Luwawu and Toupane should fill remaining SG/SF minutes. Overall team is packed, very impressive roster.

Yes and No, he will at some point, but i think Collet wants to have size so the starting 5 should be : Heurtel, Fournier, Batum, Moerman, Gobert.
Apparently there is a rumor that De Colo will be on the second unit with Ntilikina for the back court.
My 12 would be :
PG : Heurtel, Ntilikina
SG : Fournier, De Colo, Luwawu
SG : Batum, Toupane
PF : Moerman, M'Baye
C : Gobert, Poirier, Lessort

very happy witht this roster ! Def will be there everywhere from Ntilikina to Gobert ! Everybody is movable on the floor (Decolo can play 1, Ntilikina can play 1-3, Evan can organize, Toupane and Batum can play 4, M'Baye can play 3, ...)
With France it never has been a lack of talent, but a lack of chemistry sometimes.
Excuses are none for this summer, we have all the players we want ! I expect them to be in the Final, not less !

You will be very surprised by Moerman, also we can always play Batum/ Toupane who both have size and body to compete at 4 in FIBA bball

Agree Batum can hold his own if he gets switched on to other 4s, but starting him there doesn't make the best use of his speed. What's left of it, anyway... I won't hold my breath for Moernan, but I expect big things, too

TLC fittna break out. He has hops, cuts to the rack very well, and has a serviceable 3. If he could just get it up near 36-38% he'd be that dude
