It’s a G League signing. Not a big deal.

This type of more experienced floor manager PG (being on a 2-way instead of a regular G-L affiliate deal) points to how they want to use him as coaching vehicle to connect and implement their NBA system into the G-L.

Also, not sure why people are calling a 2-way deal “valuable.”

They are one year G-L contracts were the player can be called up from G-L for 45 days, not games - but days.

That player is not playoff eligible and the team has to clear a roster spot and issue a regular nba contract if they want to use them beyond 45 days.

The Magic still have their 6 other affiliate players in the G-L and they can call-up any unaffiliated player to a 10-day. It also does not negate the 14th (probably Okeke) and 15th roster spots still not filled.

Yep, a few things you can count on in life. Death, taxes, and the overreactions on this board :)

Seems like a really good passer and not much else. Would love to see how he does in Lakeland.

Magette is going to be a good emergency backup PG option.

That is needed with the uncertainty surrounding Markelle Fultz.

Again, this is a solid signing.
