Haha. I thought it was brilliant. Can definitely see if someone wouldn’t share my love for it though. I’m different though. I went to school for film, so I look for technical ****. And technically, the film was perfection. Literally no room to improve. I’m also big into acting and the lead was incredible. They’re releasing a 3 hour NC-17 cut :o

Yeah technically it was impeccable. Ari Aster is one of the most gifted directors working today. I found “Hereditary” to be the best horror film in decades.

But that’s awesome, I’ve done my fair share of film work myself.

Are you still in the industry?

Hereditary was outstanding. The performances that he got out of his two female leads in those two films is pretty remarkable.

Nah...I decided I needed to make money because I wasn’t while I was doing any of that stuff. Lol. You really can’t half ass it if you want to make a career out of it imo. You’re either all in and pray that you catch on, or you do it as a side passion/hustle. Unfortunate, my career doesn’t afford me time to spend on passion projects...so I’m **** out of luck. How about you?

Attending a yoga class where they're playing Dark Side of the Moon straight through. In honor of that here's some other people who are keeping Floyd's music going

2 completely different takes on time. I don't like bluegrass but this cover is fantastic

An Air reference — love it, one of my favorites. Have you heard/seen Portishead live at Roseland/nYC? So many great related bands...

Certainly digged on Air and Portishead back in the day. Haven't listened to them in a long time though.

Heres a couple of my favourite tracks:

Couldn't actually find "Brakes On" by Air on Youtube (it is certainly surprising when you can't find something you are looking for on Youtube).

Chill, funky, kinda dancy, summer vibes.

Guitar played live. All drums, bass, synth written in ableton live (a digital audio workspace program).

Interesting. I just saw Nels Cline and Julian Lage free form improvise score some otherworldly avante garde short films.
Hey Man, nice shot!

Euphoria is a messed up show. Makes me feel real uncomfortable watching it, and the music just works. I highly recommend it.

Love Euphoria. Sometimes I do feel like it’s shocking for the sake of being shocking, which I wish wasn’t the case. But all in all it’s a very well acted and directed show. Zendaya blows me away with her acting ability. I’m definitely hooked

Looks so great. Of all the cast, most excited about Hader. He’s going to nail that role.

I had no idea this was a thing. Cool. Bill Murray is listed in the cast. I had to check, since, well, you know... :D

Good to hear. I thought Hateful Eight was boring. Not as bad as Jackie Brown, but in the same neighborhood.

And for those who have Amazon Prime - check out The Boys. I watched the first 2 episodes and it is really good.

My girl and I enjoyed it so much that we came damn close to seeing it again an hour ago, decided to wait until tomorrow though. If anyone has an AMC theater close and likes going to the movies, sign up for the A list membership. $24 a month, can watch up to 12 movies and it includes the specialty theaters like Dolby and IMAX.

The 2 hour 41 minute runtime FLIES by btw. Also plan on starting the Boys tomorrow.

Disagree completely on Jackie Brown. Gets a bad wrap. Hateful Eight, we’re on the same page.

As for The Boys. Holy ****. Just finished episode 5 and I’m hooked. Can’t stop watching.

Once Upon a Time tomorrow. Can’t wait.
