Lillard beat both PG and Jokic in the playoffs with a lesser healthy supporting cast than both.

As good as Lillard was the Denver series, Jokic was the more valuable player for the series. McCollum, Hood and Zach stepped up big time for us.

Lillard completely outclassed PG though.

Want to vote Jimmy Butler but don't want to see PG over Dame so voted Dame.

Nominate McCollum

Dame isn't even close to as good as PG is on defence. PG got more votes the last three rounds than Dame, didn't he?

PG has beaten Dame in every poll so far. A bit odd but it is west coast prime time right now, probably favoring Lillard.

Not sure what that has to do with anything. The people that voted other guys over George are still voting people over George.

Well west coast going to favour the guy they've seen in the playoffs the last 5 years. East coast will favour PG13, I imagine he still wins the poll at the end.

You may be right but if PG went to the Lakers it'd be a different story. Where you at Clips fans?

Normally I'm more pro-Dame than most people, but I have to give PG credit after the season he had. Call me crazy but if he and Kawhi traded places last year, he'd be the one with a ring/Finals MVP/more favorable ranking in the poll. I really believe that.

George got out of the 1st round in the east 7 years ago. Not sure if it's a coast thing.

Hey man, I just call em how I see em. The Raptors were putting up 58/59 win seasons before he got there. Trading DD left the perfect void for Kawhi to waltz into without disrupting established roles/chemistry. Improving on DeRozan's defense and efficiency wasn't a tall task, so just like that the Raptors were a much better version of their former selves. Siakam's development and the Gasol trade didn't hurt either. The whole situation was tailor-made for Kawhi to succeed and look great while doing so.

It will be interesting to see how Kawhi/PG look playing on the same team. That will help to confirm or reject my hypothesis.

I think there are about 10 players that in Leonard's place would of beat the Warriors with all their injuries. Making it out of the East ironically was the bigger challenge for the Raptors.

Voted Lillard.

I’d like to vote Klay but he’s got the injury questions like KD does.

So I nominate Oladipo.

Maybe the Raps would have afforded him the luxury of load mgmt to prevent that from happening. But yeah, fair point. I was assuming healthy PG.
