Supposed Bucks rating in 2k

Bled tied for the 40th best player, Middleton tied for 57th. Brook tied for 98th
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Clearly a block. Wasn't in set position.

Open floor podcast threw out Eric Bledsoe and three 1st round picks for Beal. "They need to pursue this full blast".

Idk, those picks could turn out to be diddly squat or really good. Depends on if Giannis is here long term.

The guys on that podcast are pretty down on Bledsoe, saying he just above replacement starter level. Which is fair imo. He's great at defense but pretty sub par on offense.

Honestly I think I'd do it if we had assurances Beal would sign an extension. Beal is a young superstar

Not fair at all.

25th in the league in RPM
23rd in the league in RAPM

That's far above replacement starter level.

Three firsts is steep but Beal is way better than Bledsoe and four years younger.

Yeah that is a sizzling hot take. Bledsoe is firmly in the tier below the league's star PG's. He's a star defensive player with very real flaws, but would still start on more than half of all NBA teams, IMO.

That said, I'd trade Bledsoe and 1sts for Beal so fast, it would make your head spin. Washington, on the other hand...

Probably would need to find a 3rd team... hrrm... Denver.

Bucks out: Eric Bledsoe, Ersan Ilyasova, IND '20 1st, MKE '24 1st, MKE '26 1st
Bucks in: Bradley Beal

Wizards out: Bradley Beal
Wizards in: Michael Porter Jr., Mason Plumlee, Ersan Ilyasova, IND '20 1st, MKE '24 1st, MKE '26 1st, DEN '22 1st (Top-20 protected)

Nuggets out: Michael Porter Jr., Mason Plumlee, DEN '22 1st (lotto protected)
Nuggets in: Eric Bledsoe

Would I trade Bledsoe for a guy who would instantly slot in as our true #2 offensive player, pushing Middleton to the spot on the totem pole that he truly belongs? Without question. In an absolute heart beat. Bledsoe plus 3 1st rounder is a great deal for us no matter what years the picks are. You do this trade and you are operating with the idea that this will keep Giannis in Milwaukee and those picks just don't matter. If you are Washington, you do this as a lottery ticket that Giannis could leave and you could end up with a boatload of great picks. It's really the only the only kind of deal you're going to get for Beal. A deal with a contender who is going for it. Milwaukee is a great fit for them because they have the furthest to fall. We have that one guy where if he leaves it all just crumbles to nothing again.

That would be a Title move. I'd be all for it. I have been advocating trading Bledsoe + assets for an ultimate shooter. It makes too much sense for Team Giannis.

Beal's really good. Only concern is that I'm very competitive so I would prefer to have worse players on my team.

Not ready to give up on Bledsoe. Keep the band together.

Getting Bradley Beal wouldn't exactly be giving up on him.

During one of the summer league broadcasts they made mention of Darvin Ham emphasizing the importance of everyone on the staff getting head coaching reps in Vegas, how valuable they are ECT. Thought it was cool of Ham to allow and got me wondering if some shared head coaching scenario might be feasible with the Herd. The G-league is always priding itself on being innovative, being a testing ground for the NBA. The Bucks are always talking about the Herd being an extension of their staff. I wonder if the less senior coaches could each take turns as the Herd coach throughout the season. There should all be running a replication of the Bucks system anyway. There are probably a million reasons people could come up with as to why it wouldn’t work, but it seems like kind of a cool way to share responsibility and get the younger guys experience without them having to feel like they’re permanently exiled to Oshkosh. Couldn’t possibly be any worse than last year.
