Well the offer proposed is Bledsoe to a third team and three FRPs. The problem is that the IND pick is lottery protected and that our two next available picks are in 2024 and 2026. Still I think some of DDV, Brown, Wilson has to be involved. Hopefully WAS is high on at least one of these players.

I would do a Bledsoe for Beal plus picks. Yep no problem there. They would say no IMO.

I think it's fair to say Bledsoe is just above starter replacement level (if I'm understanding that term correctly as an average starter), especially considering the playoffs where his game is challenged more. He's firmly below the tier of PGs like Conley and Brogdon (I Kidd) and Paul.

Tier1: Curry, Lillard, Harden
Tier 2: Walker, Irving, Westbrook
Tier 3: Conley, Paul
Tier 4: Bledsoe, Lowry, Simmons, Russell
Tier 5: ~10 players

Give me Beal, please. We'd be better in so many ways with Hill handling the ball.

I'd rather do a deal based around Middleton, the All star signed to a long term deal if any of it was even remotely possible. Middleton, the Indiana first, and DDV seems like enough since like I said....Middleton is signed long term and is an All Star.

Supposed Bucks rating in 2k

Bled tied for the 40th best player, Middleton tied for 57th. Brook tied for 98th

looool at Gasol being rated so close to Lopez and also only 7 points lower than a guy we just handed a near max contract.

Middleton got hosed. Derozan, Booker, Mitchell, Lavine, McCollum, Lou Williams, Hield, Gallinari, Tatum, all rated higher despite none of those guys being better than him last season.

And Doncic, though I don't really have a gripe with that given what he did last season and projecting him forward.

Lopez also hosed, though his lack of box score stuffing obviously contributed.

The guys on that podcast are pretty down on Bledsoe, saying he just above replacement starter level. Which is fair imo. He's great at defense but pretty sub par on offense.

Eric Bledsoe 3.5 BPM Brad Beal 2.8 BPM On a MUCH HIGHER SALARY.

Beal has got to be one of the most overrated players on this board.

They need to put down the pipe, stop consuming the haterade, and get sober. They should NEVER be within a 1000 miles of a NBA GM position.

I like Bradley Beal as a player, but yeah, he's getting the CJ McCollum treatment right now.

I like how every pro-Bledsoe argument needs to be prefaced with...You know, if you just ignore the playoffs

You anti Bledsoe jerks act like the playoffs are a big deal or something...lol.

I’m genuinely and non mockingly curious about the Bucks phycological infrastructure, particularly as it related to Bledsoe. He’s been open his tremendous anxiety before big games. Used to wonder how the Bucks tried to help whatever was going on in Jabari Parker’s mind at times too.

Jabari hardly ever played defense. Eric always does, nervous or not.

2K ratings are always a joke. Same with Madden.

Yeah I’m not equating them as players. Bledsoe’s been open about his anxiety and it was apparent right away Jabari had something cooking. Maybe it’s just a learning disability? There’s some disconnect there. Just wondering how the Bucks view/handle the brains of their guys.

Bledsoe was AWFUL in the Toronto series, but I think it's fair to say progress was made with regards to his playoff performance. He was great against Detroit in the first round and had moments against Boston. I think he's better equipped for next year and it'll show when the time comes.

I wouldn't consider myself a big Middleton fan, but at least his game doesn't completely fall off a cliff in the playoffs.

I've been following the NBA since the early 90's and I honestly don't remember a player whose game falls off so dramatically from regular season to playoffs like Eric Bledsoe. The only one who comes to mind who was similar was Cliff Robinson on the Portland Trailblazers back when the Blazers had Drexler, but I don't think his dropoff was as extreme as Bledsoe's.

JS just did a profile on Bucks sports psychologist. Sounds he's not returning though.
