Let’s not over complicate Batum. We don’t win with him on the court. We don’t make clutch plays with him on the court. He turns the ball over at the worst times and there have been countless times he’s played a full game well into the 4th yet not scorer.

He got paid in 2016, had a kid, caught Boris Diaw disease and now he’s a paperweight that costs $27m per season.

Back on topic, I like how Miles looked assertive and had a "too good to be here" attitude during SL. We need some good fortune, I hope Miles breaks out and becomes a star.
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

What do you think he needs the most in order to get to that star status?

I personally just really like all of his tools. I think if he just continues to improve on everything he's doing he could be very good... he could be a more athletic and explosive Tobias Harris if he puts everything together and progresses. You have to keep in mind, he played pretty well last year as a rookie with inconsistent minutes and having virtually no plays run for him. He shows good effort on D, a decent shooting stroke (especially from the corner), and of course his explosive athleticism.

My biggest concern with Miles is his shooting touch. It seems like most of his outside shots are open set shots and just not seen any real skill with pull up type jump shots. Hopefully that part of his game will develop but just don't know.

Bridges has never shown an offensive “bag” of tricks.
No dynamic offensive skill set.

Athletic and bouncy for sure.

He’s of the Draymond Green/Zion Williamson family of scoring prowess.

I hope he's practicing his fadeaway jumper then.

Interesting take. Having that alpha mentality certainly wouldn’t hurt him.

I’d like to see him simplify things a little as well. No need to always go for the spectacular. I’d rather him be effective than “OMG’ish”.

Miles is leaking lean and mean this summer. He is going to take a big step next season.

That's funny - I actually thought he looked bulkier at SL and not slimmer.

As long as he’s adding more muscle. It would be good for him to add mass as well, he has the body type to do it. We shall see, definitely seems as explosive as ever based on summer league. He needs more finesse and better decision making now.

What is his best case scenario at this point?

I'm not the only one who noticed that Miles is in better shape:

For this team to be legit, I stand by he has to play the 3.

Right now I would say our future is

1.?
2. Whoever wins out of Monk and Bacon
3. Miles
4. PJ
5.?

There's nothing set in stone about this team's future. I'm confident one or both of Miles and PJ will be a part of it, but beyond that the team we have in 3 years will look radically different from the one we have now.

it's that time of year nothing substantive just goofin...Kuzma roast Bridges
Bridges was rated a modest 76 but seemed to be proud of it regardless. At the end of the day, he's in the NBA so who really cares what a video game has to say about him. In the post, he also explained how he wants to raise his rating to over 80 throughout the season.

Kuzma caught win of the tweet and instead of encouraging him or giving just a tiny bit of support, the young Lakers star said "You look like you about to fart."

I'm glad that Lebron will be retired by the time Miles is a UFA. Otherwise, him being good friends with Kuzma and Lebron he'd be a lock to sign with the Lakers.

I think MIles has the potential to be an impact defender. I also think he become a contributor on the offensive end.

For a rookie he was a decent shooter, ballhandler, and obviously has a load of athleticism.

He strikes me as a guy that is going to continue to work really hard to improve his game.

I was honestly a bit surprised at how nasty his advanced stats were last year, because he seemed pretty decent to the eye. This will be a big year for him as far as grading his potential. Needs to show pretty vast improvement if he's going to become more than just another guy.
