Loaded rosters with an MVP candidate, sure. But said MVP caliber players (Giannis and Joel) cannot close games.

If you don't have a superstar on the ball that can score from multiple levels, you ain't winning a championship.

It’s about mismatches. If you can negate mismatches that are against your favor and have mismatches on your favor, then you are likely to win playoff series.

This roster right now is about that.

About 3 level scorer, Biid has to shoot from his 30-31% 3pt% to atleast 35% and Tobi to score like when he was playing for the clips with around 20ppg and almost 50-40-90 percentages.

Among the 3, I see Tobi is the most likely 3 level scorer and Ben as the least likely one.

After AD, the next big FA that WILL change team is Antetokounmpo.

Mavs were in play. Now, Knicks and LA are in play. All you have to do is check where his brothers are.

Giannis' brothers are like college coaches adding a HS prospects relative as an assistant before the kid picks a college.

Ive been banned for 2 months in gen board for trolling the Jayson Tatum thread.

Anyway, Kerr is right. This player empowerment is bad for small market teams but i find this good for the league. It’s like a tv series, the movement allows new storyline every year.

Have you told them that Tatum is not 15 anymore?

It’s very possible that 5 years from now, Zhaire or Thybulle will be better than Tatum. Think about it.

If Tatum reaches his Klay Thompson upside, if Zhaire reaches his Victor Oladipo upside and if Thybulle reaches his Danny Green upside, I'm still taking Tatum.

It's possible, but not very likely.

I'm bracing myself for Fultz to come back healthy and start/play well for the Magic.

I think Warriors will be a very good regular season team. No problem with offense then have Draymond and WCS do their thing on defense. Problem will be their depth and wing defense. I find them to be matching well with teams like Nuggets, Blazers and Lakers. Draymond and WCS is also a very good counter for Bron and AD.

Gallo said he will privilege title chasing and not money when he'll be fa next year.
Look at him going back in LA or NY (I mean... Brooklyn) for the MLE

This might well be the case. But as you and most 76ers fans know Fultz was given every opportunity to succeeded here, and for whatever reason he just was not ready.

Maybe a change of venue was/is the cure. Maybe he had/has to grow up. Who knows.

It's a shame assets were wasted on him. But the team is in a good position to make some significant nose this season. But I would be lying if I said I would be OK with him coming out and playing well this season. But the FO would not be blamed for trading him to Orlando.

Once Fultz will be back in 100% he’d be great. The only thing why I wouldnt want him to be back to 100% is his immature personality.

I didnt like how he acted once we traded him to the Magic. He could atleast thank our team for being patient with him.

Would be curious to see how Zion will turn out. I see him as a more brute and more athletic version of Giannis. His 20BPM is just crazy

I dont know if its by design that Pels looks to be filling a lot of duke players on their team. Maybe they’re trying to recruit coach k?

Anyway, I think Jah will turn his career around this upcoming season forward.

Jah's career is what it is. He will have some good games. But I don't expect a major turnaround or a switch to finally flip and he'll be "Now I've got it!"

Would David Griffin be so highly regarded around the league if the Cav's had not won a title? It may have been tough dealing with Lebron. But that experience labeled Griffin as a GM that knows how to build around a superstar and because of Lebron, Griffin can say he built a championship team. That is gold on any GM's resume.

I don't think Zion will turn out to be anything close to Giannis. Zion is young and he is already having conditioning problems. Yes I know once he get's an NBA conditioning team behind him he is going to have the best of the best. But he is young he will want to eat and party and have a good time. It's what young men do. To be on a strict diet from day one is asking a lot from him. And his body is going to take a lot of pounding up and down the court for 82 games. It's gonna be rough on him.

Exeperience. He has seen total rebuild, championship, done big trades, draft top picks and etc. Only few GMs have been thru that.
