Hey All!
As I do annually, I empty out my notebook from Summer League. This year was REALLY long, so we broke it up by conference. Here is the East!

Re: Eastern Conference Summer League Notes
Thank you Keith for providing that. Good read across all the Eastern Conference teams.

Keith,
You always do a wonderful job with these.
I take it there is nothing new out there on Markelle Fultz?

Nope. Same as here at home: "He's working and we're excited about Markelle's progress." It's the most non-update update possible.
Offhand I have heard from people that he looks good, but no one from the team. Just those who have seen him working out. I assume he's a mystery box until camp opens.

Keith,
That's my assumption but The Magic making no moves at point guard other than signing Josh Magette to a Two-Way Deal sends signals that they believe he will be ok this season.

Re: Eastern Conference Summer League Notes
Before I got to read the Atlanta Hawks, I totally agree they need to start NBA free agency before the NBA draft. The NFL does free agency before the draft and its better with free agency 1st than the draft. They don't need to change the date for the NBA draft if they start Free agency 1st. Just keep NBA draft the same which is the 3rd week of June on a Thursday and start Free agency the day after the NBA finals has ended.
