I was always impressed by him defensively. Maybe a more clear role and the let it fly mentality will unlock his offensive ability.

A) Yawn at Bucks news on July 25th
2) Mock Mr Show
3) Look at Instagram for a while
D) Profit
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Worthwhile gamble. He was physically not ready to play when he entered the league and while he's got a little stronger he still gets bullied in the post. He can move his feet ok against smaller guys but not as fluid as advertised as a prospect. Kind of a mess offensively, turns the ball over too much and shot abysmally last year from 3 but I do think he has some potential to shoot better. Can be maddenly passive to the point you will yell at the TV to just take the **** shot.

Not to sound all negative, he's still very young, was a good teammate and does have a decent feel for the game on D. Showed a couple flashes late last year that he could turn it around and be a bench big.

Based on what everyone here has said about his game he sounds like taller, slower D.J. Wilson.

https://ftw.usatoday.com/2019/03/suns-robert-sarver-goats-ryan-mcdonough-office

FOUR YEARS AFTER naming McDonough general manager, Sarver acquired some live goats from a Diana Taurasi event at Talking Stick Resort Arena and planted them upstairs in McDonough’s office. The stunt was both a practical joke and an inspirational message — the Suns should find a GOAT of their own, one who dominates like Taurasi. The goats, unaware of their metaphorical connotation, proceeded to defecate all over McDonough’s office.

Could prove a very shrewd signing. 21, and not even been in the league for a full rookie contract.

He's been physically immature during his Phoenix stint. He has the frame to put on plenty of weight. He could be Suki'd up.

While Bud helps refine his shot and puts him in the short corner to bomb 3's, and open up space for Giannis.

Can run the floor himself, and benefit from how Giannis, Bled, and DiVo can as well.

Shown some real potential to be a strong rebounder and rim protector between youth teams and NBA. I'm intrigued.

This is a great bet with the final roster spot.

I really like this signing. Low risk, high potential reward. I'm in!

I will fully admit to wanting to trade up to draft him. Love this for potentially nothing.

Seems like Bender is comparable to a 2nd round pick we could have bought at the least.

Don’t hate taking a flier on him.

If we trade Ersan or Wilson or someone gets hurt we will all of a sudden have a big hole up front.

This sketch randomly popped in my head the other day.

That and "Pit Pat" are probably my favorites.

I still watch "The Audition" once a month. Such a simple idea but so funny.

Can he replace Thon's towel waving? That is a huge hole that they haven't been able to fill. Nobody waves a towel like Thon can

I really dig this pickup. Give him a year to learn and grow in a good environment, and see what he makes of it. I'm going to have to get out to a few Herd games this year.

I see him not too athletic, not too tough, with heavy feet. Decent shooting form.
I am a horrible judge of talent.
Tangent: I imagined Suki to be much more in shape than she appears.

Jokesters typically don't take things too seriously. Maybe that's why he has a motor that doesn't rev past a slow idle.

Hopefully he'll get in the gym with Giannis and bust his ass. He better if he wants to make it.

I love it, first time he has been in a stable organization and can work with an actual established coaching staff rather than the temp agency the Suns were hiring to fill there spots along with a functional locker room. Its a lottery ticket, but he still does have a high ceiling, having to learn from 2 high characters teammates in Brook and Robin also helps.
