I got 2 free dots with some purchases. Bought Arlo Ultra for the house. Very cool setup. Also added Ring Door bell cameras to my doors. Also very cool.

I had no interest in the echo's but then started playing around and I really like them. So..... I Bought an Echo show 2 on Amazon Prime day for cheap. Love it! Wife loves it.

Ugh, just found out GameStop doesn't do 9:00 pm Thursday sales for new Nintendo games since Nintendo doesn't allow for it. Midnight only. Looks like I'll be waiting until tomorrow morning for Fire Emblem.

So happy I just cannot get into Madden. Give me NCAA or bust. Greatest sports video game ever created and it's not even close.

I am personally am really enjoying this Madden. I've grown bored w/ the last several years to the point I barely played. Gameplay feels much more fluid.

I bought I think Madden 25 or whatever the anniversary one was on sale a while back, played a little franchise mode but haven't touched one since.

The thing is, I only play Franchise mode and against the CPU, never online or even against friends at my place. Is the Franchise mode better, have new features, etc.? Or is it basically like the franchise mode in the last 7?

I did. Going with the Golden Deer because they seem well rounded, and I read some light spoilers about what's to come after the time skip. That said I'm definitely gonna have to recruit and romance out of my House. I also need at least one tank and a healer.

Glad that so far my general strat of all staying together, taking it slow, generally letting the enemies come to you is still very effective.

My wife and I are finally picking up a Switch, but we're waiting a few weeks to pick up the refreshed version with better battery life. So damn excited for FE.

Getting a Switch on a whim was one of the best gaming decisions I've made. Hadn't bought any Nintendo items in years, saw the last one in stock at Best Buy and said **** it, the very worst I can sell it. Took me 3 days to open the box but the rest is history.

As someone who has never played any FE or a Persona, but loves RPGs, should I give it a go? Any good gameplay videos out there?

Mahomes is merely the modern version of madden 2002-2003ish Mike Vick.

I took half a day of vacation to play FE and I managed to get four hours in (I regret nothing). Had to go to a dinner an hour away tonight, got back late and watched some TV with the girl who thankfully didn't want to go out or I would have had to go too. Now she's wiped and in bed and I'm thinking about having one of those old school all-nighters like I did with Skyrim when that came out. Drink is poured, snacks are in the bowl, I'm gonna blow through this thing.

So one thing I do with every FE game is fiddle around in the settings for a couple things. I move the battle speed to the fastest, and I turn off battle animations. It turns every battle into 16 bit but it saves time.

Speaking of time, so far it's been 80/20 in the school vs the battles. I don't love it, but I feel like I have to take part in all the talking to students and doing activities in order to get the best possible group (which I'm not likely to get anyway).

Actually taking the time does though seem to legit reward you, and that's why I do it. You can find lost items to return to their owners really easy for XP gains. Quests are super easy.

I don't love the characters as much as I did in Awakening or even Fates, but I think they'll grow on me.

Not regretting the House I chose. They're all cool.
