Wow it looks like Kevin Durant is getting a groundswell.

Can we just all agree to put him 11th? I'll vote for him if everyone else does.

Let's be realistic, 2019-20 worlds best Wheelchair Basketball player still will not be enough good to be even WNBA #11, especially not NBA #11.

I'm just being pragmatic. OP said he doesn't want to remove him at this point so that only leaves voting for him and getting it over with so he doesn't suck 20-30 votes away from other candidates for the next ten or more polls. If we vote for him now then maybe OP will even make a bonus 26th poll so we can all pretend he wasn't #11.

From my point of the view, there is more sense to vote for KD as TOP5, focused on his talent and potential only, than now, out of TOP10, which is embarrassing for 2nd best player of this decade. I was against him being part of this poll since start, but removing him from it have more reasons now than before.

There are two clear points. One is that OP doesn't set out a criteria. The second is that this is a season-specific poll, that's why it's in the title.

Many people have complained about Kevin Durant's inclusion, myself included and I just think we should collectively vote for KD at #11 and get him off the poll to end the ambiguity and votes that will be siphoned off of every remaining poll.

What do you mean by season-specific? You mean votes should be based on this upcoming season production only?

I already explained above how putting the years in the title does not make that clear.

If it did, why did 24 people just vote for Durant? They can all see the year and yet still voted for him.

Also, if OP intended this to be specific to only this season's production, why did he put Durant in the first group of poll options!? LOL

Jrue, CP3, Westbrook, Murray, Thompson, Conley, Mitchell and possibly even Fox and Booker are better guards than Lillard and that's just the WESTERN CONFERENCE! Everybody here is saying he is the third best guard in the NBA? This is insane. The dude plays negative defense and chucks 30 footers like he's channeling Antoine Walker. Everybody has already forgotten how he got swept by the Pelicans season before last?
