Did you mean "Perhaps we can get him for a first and Semi" or something? Because otherwise that's ridiculous.

No, I figured thatd be the price to take on a toxic young player from a team with a toxic culture.

Plus, he’d be a good fill in for us at the four when Hayward signs with the Suns next summer.

What? The Nets would be better of just releasing Jarret Allen than executing such a terrible trade. How is he toxic? How are the Nets toxic? This is insane. Would you trade Robert Williams and a first for Mitch Creek? And you aren't allowed to google Mitch Creek.

SWC was being facetious. I think. Can't tell if Bleeding Green is just stretching the bit though. I like it better when people don't use green fonts anyway.

I thought the Hayward to the Suns bit would've given it away...

My bet is Smart starts the season off the bench...but after we hit our first slump, he starts and he'll remain in the starting lineup for the season. His defense next to Kemba is too good to leave on the bench.

If he would take a 2 year minimum deal like Dragan Bender did with the Bucks, I would definitely take a chance on Marquese Chriss.

Marquese Chriss is a 22 year old 6’10” PF/C who is very athletic and has a ton of potential. Chriss is very immature and has had attitude and work habit issues in the past but the potential is there.

Low Risk at minimum and could turn into a frontline keeper under Brad Stevens. I think it’s worth a shot.

My two cents.

His immaturity and bad work habits are the reason why he'll never scratch the surface of his potential. He's been on 3 teams and all 3 teams told him to basically **** off. Let him go to the D-league or overseas first so he tastes some humble pie.

Also take note of Hayward's position while still recovering from his injury (beyond the obvious notice of Smart's).

And Rob is going to improve by literal and figurative leaps and bounds this season.

It’s going to be hard putting Jaylen or Gordon on the bench this season
