Tbh they are barely in a better position than us, they need to be sellers but they go and trade for Stro LOL

Kay is one of only three guys with a 55 FV on MLB Pipeline to not make the top 100. So he’s right on the cusp.

Kay is 24 and struggling badly in AAA. W-R looks like a quality prospect but only 17, so very much a lottery ticket.

I dunno - seems a bit light for 1.5 years control of Stroman.

One potential explanation for Kay’s struggles, could be that he’s getting used to the new ball in AAA.

Shatkins **** the bed again....I am really surprised the likes ATL/SD would not give up more for stroman. At this rate it may have been better to extend him.

Woods-Richardson seems like an intriguing piece, but Kay does not look like the level of prospect that should be headlining the return here.

This deal makes no sense unless a third team somehow is involved.

If this is the best they could do this year than screw it! Let the fans enjoy Stro’s pitching the rest of the year and move him next year in the hopes that someone tops this because this is nothing from the looks of it. Not hard to beat nothing.

Stro still has good years left. Has a WAR ranked 17th of pitchers. Has a year of control left. And he’s from there! You put them over the barrel for that!

Atkins is garbage and all hype.

Look we have no idea what Stro was asking for his free agency years, maybe he was asking for 20+ mill plus and our numbers don't line up with his, maybe they don't like his off the field behaviour...
