GTFOH. You make those deals every day of the week, and twice on Sunday.
No on zion, we dont know what he will be, if he can even stay healthy

So, you're saying you would've taken Mitch number 1 overall last draft?

Cause I wouldn't. I love me some Mitch, but he's not that valuable of an asset

Klay Thompson/Shaedon Sharpe
Keldon Johnson/De'Andre Hunter

yeah agreed. I would even take RJ over Mitch- i think hes great but his upside is limited due to his offensive limitations

Zion - maybe. I'd have to see him this season but if he is as good as advertised, he's probably the only one I'd have no doubts about, and you can control him for years.

Jokic - maybe. Right now I say probably not. I love Jokic but there are some limits there, particularly on D.

Embiid - definite yes if he was healthy. But he's definitely not healthy.

That's about it. Even with Embiid and Jokic, maybe you can sign them if they stay great.

Mitch being cheap for 3 more years is a huge thing.

So much for all of our experts here who think Mitch should come off the bench and play limited minutes.

Not suprising. Early last year, There was a significant portion of this board that insisted that Mitch should go to the G league.

To start the season? Yes it was a logical thought. The guy hadnt played bball for a year. Had he played say 35 min a game for ghe first 20 games in the g league, you dont think that would have helped?

The phenomena of people feeling the need to comment on a player they've clearly barely watched play. What a joke.

the general board is mostly terrible and this thread is a great example. you have a few guys who are fans of other teams who have watched him enough that they can comment honestly but they're the minority. you have people giving an opinion just to give an opinion because you ask most people any question and they'll give you an answer even if they're completely uniformed to do so. you have knick fans feeling the need to convince these same people who don't really watch him even though it's obviously a waste of time. then you have people who hate the knicks, hi nets fan in the thread, who use the thread as an excuse to slyly bash the knicks in some small way. there's nothing to be learned here.

Well, that's a very sad commentary on the value of this place, yes? If there's nothing to learn here, why do you waste your personal valuable time here?
Tanking again, I suppose. Is there any other way?

There are useful things (to be learnt) here, but you have to be highly discriminating.

There's a Mitch thread on the GB. It's asking why he is so overhyped.
Came in here to point out Mitch's 85% FG % in summer league..
He was practically 70% last season,. 694%.

Anyways that's pretty damn good and now we know the Knicks invested in a servicable backup, Bobby portis.

Lol, the attention the Knicks get on the GB is pretty funny. There's mostly mentions about their FA. Had ROa on the general board for a few years, so in used to just seeing ppl bait, but Bo Wagner is the Op, that seems like a mediocre big and yeah the Knicks signed all the best big men in FA.

You can also see a narrative questioning the ablility to play 2 centers in today's league. Not to throw these teams under the bus but Philly and Indy seems like they can be beat by speed lineups.
