100% chance when he posts he makes an ass out of himself

I destroyed him so bad on the GB I almost felt bad for him. All he has to say he was wrong and take the L, but he won't. Next offseason i'll probably have like 5 quotes from him from this year in my sig. His will be a celtics sig as he will be losing a bet.

Here is an actual reenactment of Prokorov, played by Chris Elliot, surrounded by Celtic's posters on the GB.

RIP to all Kanter stans. Surprised to see Marcus Morris so high.

Kanter’s +/- surely was impacted greatly by being on the worst team in the history of teams, no? Maybe a more accurate gauge would be his +/- with Portland regular season + playoffs. I have not looked it up but logic says trying to dis his stans on his +/- with the Knicks is a weak argument.

Tatum looks skinnier than he did last season. Hoping it’s just the angle.

Not Yabuesque by any means, but one thing I have noticed about Tatum that should be helpful is that he has developed something of a butt. He barely had one when he came into the league, but a little lower-body muscle, weight and strength will help.

Hard to tell, we used to play the same guessing game with Sullinger. His legs look thicker. No clips of Hayward yet?

Never any question about Sully's caboose! And only the deluded saw Sully, like Yabs, in NBA playing shape.

And reports are Hayward is working hard, at least largely in Boston, and has slimmed down some. That there aren't any training clips from him this summer may come how much he was stung by fans' doubts and reactions to his play last season, I guess.

Not sure I want him to slim down much, but before his leg break he was looking like Captain America. He needs strength as he will be defending PF a lot. Losing any body fat he picked up sitting around for 8 months would be great though. Get a little more lift.

Sounds like he's put down the fortnight (a little at least) and has been working with Celtic trainers in Boston hard core. Sold his house in San Diego and lives in Boston now.

Yet the general board feels he has nothing but a negative value with no chance to get better and should be traded for Steve Adams.

Really. If there was a chance of that ever happening, danny would have advised him and he'd be in San Diego working out still.

I think he really beefed up before his first year here to play the 4 and that lasted all of 5 minutes. Then last season he looked to me like he was carrying some fat (by NBA standards, that is). If he is talking about trimming down (as he has been) then I think they've talked about having him more in his traditional 3 spot this year, with Jayson doing more down low. I know they have also talked to Jayson about having to cover for some of the defensive loss in losing Al, which presumably means playing the 4 spot.

I also expect him to be the second best player on the team this year, and an AS again. I really think Gordon is going to be as much the story this year as the Jays. If Rob can somehow break out this season as well, I think they will be contenders, though that's probably a bit optimistic in terms of his timetable.

If the Jay's and Hayward don't take major steps forward this season the Celtics are finished regardless of what Kemba Walker accomplishes. It's really that simple.

Kanter said they split the games. I would think Hayward/Fall would have the advantage.

Nice. I'd love to see this.
Also, seems like Tacko is making himself right at home.

People act like Hayward wasnt a positive player per pretty much every advanced metric out there. He didnt play up to his standard, but he still was a good player. Its nuts how people ignore that.

FWIW: I probably would trade him for Adams. But he’s getting overrated and people are ignoring that he, too, is horribly overpaid.

Just a guess: Rumors regarding our interest in Drummond will appear after FIBA.

-I’m guessing Kemba and Drummond are friends via their UConn connection
-I’m guessing he’ll the hang out a lot with our guys during camp
-The Griffin/Drummond front court has run its course IMO and I could see Detroit being open to moving him, especially if he indicates he’d want out

Not really. All they need is two of those three and Rob W. to take major steps forward and some of the rooks to step up.

Oh Most Definitely. The Jays are up and coming.
Basically 2/3rds of the team still has a lot of Upside.

I think that the Celtics are very promising going forward.
We still need a Competent PF, and need to clear up that Roadblock at Wing.
