Kinda confused what you mean here. From your Kawhi comment, I’d assume you actually meant to say 1% regular season and 99% postseason, but then you bring up Gobert as an example of the bias here when he’s been maybe a Top 15 regular season player and has just been absolutely terrible in the playoffs year after year. The reason he doesn’t belong higher is absolutely his playoff performances. Personally, I don’t think any of Gobert, Westbrook, or Kyrie should go any time soon. I’d take Draymond, Towns, Jrue, Siakam, Simmons, Lowry, CP3, and Oladipo over any of them.
I don't get why you rate Westbrook so low. Don't get me wrong, I've been close to hating the guy for a long time, but this just baffles me. How is Simmons the better player? Are you taking potential into account? I'm genuinely curious, what has Simmons shown you that Westbrook hasn't? What makes him the better player as of today? His height? His good looks? Dude is close to unplayable in the playoffs, if you care about that so much. Westbrook at least gives you something.
I still can't believe this forum has pushed me to defend Russell Westbrook

The difference between Westbrook and Simmons is Simmons knows he can not shoot, Westbrook still thinks he is a hybrid of steph Curry/westbrook. Simmons is a borderline elite defender, Westbrook finally became a decent defender this year. Simmons hinders you offensively, Westbrook destroys your chances ala Portland series. The difference between Simmons and Westbrook BBIQ. Westbrook is the type of player that baffles the mind, in both a good and a bad way. Unfortunately last year it was alot of the bad and rarely the good and with his age I doubt that trend changes.

Yeah, all this. Very good post. The differences between Westbrook and Simmons in Simmons favor are:
-Simmons has much, much better shot selection. Westbrook takes about 10 terrible shots a game from outside 15 feet whereas Simmons doesn’t try.
-Simmons is a much, much better defender. One of the best in the league while Westbrook is close to average.
-Simmons is very young and improving every year while Westbrook is in the middle of a steep decline.
And then in Westbrook’s favor:
-Slightly better passer, rebounder, and interior scorer.
Overall I’d break it down as:
Scoring: Simmons > Westbrook (due to shot selection)
Passing: Westbrook > Simmons
Rebounding: Westbrook > Simmons
Defense: Simmons >>> Westbrook
Oh, and as for the close to unplayable in the playoffs thing, that’s based on one series against Boston two years ago. He was very good last year. Westbrook was unplayable in the playoffs literally the last time we saw him. He shot the Thunder out of the series vs. Portland playing like 37 year old Kobe on his farewell tour or Wizards MJ. Sometimes you just have to admit you don’t have it.
