Yeah I don't get Barry at all. I'm guessing that's the one with the little girl, which I agree was a funny episode, but overall, meh.

Edit: I see that it's not that episode.

There's definitely a suspension of disbelief element throughout the show, and someone pointed out earlier maybe it just isn't meant to be taken that seriously.

One of the thing that I love about that episode is that until that moment at the end of the previous episode, Loach's marital strife is a running gag. Then that episode is basically stepping through a portal into the world of that gag. It's different and it should be different.

Agree, I quit Peaky Blinder under 20 minutes into episode one due to not being able to understand anything they're saying. Too bad, supposedly it's very good. There is just a million shows out there so I don't need to force it

You get used to it. becomes easier as you watch. I recommend going back as it's a great, great show.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

I also failed at Snatch and the original Office. I guess I just don't speak the queen's English.

I also noted said issue following along and it didn't get better most of the way through season 1.

I'd still give it another shot but given that I get like 40 minutes of TV/night in with young kids right now, it probably won't make it back to the top of my list for a long time.

No but I've heard good things.

Euphoria is really getting pretty groovy. The antagonist is so vicious, I am very invested in this series. It is quite disturbing but that enhances the appeal.

Also, looking forward to putting time into the Sneaky Blinders when I can free up a little binge time.

They are apparently 'my people' according to my maternal haplotype analysis from 23andMe. Adopted am I, with Irish/English Roma traveler ties. Yep, that definitely initiated some dysphagia.

It is good, but you understand about 50% of what they say.

Saw it today. I like Tarantino movies because they're always offbeat. This one was offbeat x 100. It was a slow ride but the last third was pretty crazy. I agree, good not great. Fantastic cast.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

My main beef with Once Upon a Time is that it's first half is very self-indulgent, even by Tarantino's standards. A lot of the Hollywood stuff doesn't really do anything to advance the story or characters in any way, but it's still entertaining. Once Cliff makes it to the Spahn Movie Ranch it really picks up and is very good. I'd still give it an 8/10, though.

Man.... I watched the first episode of Euphoria and it was rough. I generally don’t flinch on your basic sad, or hard to watch TV but this show was really difficult to deal with. Maybe I’ll try another episode but I’m not sure.

Anyone watching Jett?

Its got a great vibe to it and I'm a big Carla Gugino fan.

Started watching The OA after a couple of you guys said it was weird. Sad to see it canceled after the second season gave it a lot more momentum.

Oh that's a bummer. The 2nd season was pretty exciting stuff.

Yea, I super didn't like the first season but I thought the second was pretty great. Was really looking forward to the third after that bonkers final scene.

All y’all who don’t dig ‘Euphoria’ either (a) don’t have a teenager in this **** society or (b) just didn’t give it a proper chance (really good character arcs S the show evolves) or (c) you just didn’t like it. I feel for those that picked (c). Show is damn good.

I watched the first episode and thought it was interesting but since I cancelled HBO I never really made any kind of effort to find streams.

Just watched the first episode of Pennyworth. Promising.

Loved the season as well. What are your thoughts on the ending?

Spoiler:
Did Rue

-relapse and OD
-relapse and that was her high
-flashback to first OD

I originally thought she was dying but now I'm leaning more towards it just showing her really high since there is a second season.

I hope Fez and Ashtray made it out of that situation.
