On the Celtics front: Kryrie is gone, but the ego driven rooks still remain. Marcus may need to take the leadership mantle. I wonder if Ainge can retain all these rookies when Stevens' weakness is being exposed -- cant hold the locker room together and failing to keep egos in check.

If the Kawhi decision wasn’t contingent upon it, that Paul George trade was the most lopsided trade ever.

it's why i asked if kawhi would have came here with pg. okc was able to leverage the clippers into basically paying for both pg & kawhi because they couldn't get one with out the other. is that what is being suggested ? they we had the chance to make that happen ?

Getting PG would have been way too risky... What's to say Kawhi wouldn't still go Clippers and just recruit some other player like Beal or Westbrook?

I'm thinking it's just BS. We cancelled the meeting with Kawhi. I would assume that at the very best it was a longshot and we were mainly being used as leverage for the Clippers to get the deal done...
