I just had my four wisdom teeth pulled earlier this year. Two were impacted - though only one was impacted significantly. I was on a liquid died for the first week, and didn't return to hard foods for a month. It wasn't so bad after week one when I could start eating softer foods, but I got so damn sick of soups/ensure/smoothies during that first week.

The pain wasn't bad at all, though. Didn't need the vicodin they prescribed - extra strength tylenol and ibuprofen did the trick, and I didn't really even need that after the first few days.

The trippiest thing for me was the operation itself. I'm in the room, talking to the oral surgeon, completely lucid, and without warning, I'm out like a light and my next conscious moment is being led to the recovery room after the operation with gauze in my mouth. It was literally pre-op lucidty ---> realizing I'm awake and groggily being walked to a table in the recovery room with nothing in between.

I had all four impacted taken out 14 years ago when I was in high school over a spring break. They hooked me up to IVs and the laughing gas and I remember being really high looking at the fluorescent lights above the bed. They said they had to strap me down because I was pulling the IVs out, guess I don't like getting stuck with needles even when mostly unconscious. I was back to normal after a couple days and didn't get any dry sockets.

My dad had exploratory surgery a few months ago. My mom was getting nervous in the waiting room when the routine surgery was taking twice as long as it should've.

When it was over the doctor told her the surgery went fine. The problem was that his sleep apnea is so bad he kept waking up after they put him under and it delayed the start time.

Not to miss out, but I had 6 of my 7 wisdom teeth removed about 10 years ago and it was bothering for about a month.

All of that aside. I like that new LB pickup by us. Division 2 Defensive player of the year. Hope he makes the team.

I had what I assume was a bit of a panic attack after having my wisdom teeth pulled when I was in high school. I woke up in a hospital bed alone in a fairly small room with some other empty hospital beds. I had no memory of how I got there. My mouth was still numb and wasn't filled with gauze like what you described, so that didn't trigger any memories as to why I was there, though I did have an unexplained taste of blood in my mouth. I don't remember how long it took me to become lucid enough to remember where I was, but that is probably the most terrified I've ever been in my life. I thought I had been in an accident or that my organs had been harvested or some ****.

It was a very odd experience.

yeah.. I thought the same but wanted to get back to talking football. lol

This "worried about the offense" narrative that's getting thrown around by nat'l and local media is kinda funny to me. If #12 is upright, I'm not too concerned.

Any early cracks on predicting 53 man rosters? sleepers to make team, etc?

Vitale seems like an early lock so there's a RB spot.

A guy I haven't heard much of anything on is Kyler Fackrell.. I know that the new toys are all better and overshadowing the OLB/Pass rusher spots but, is he safe? Think he could be dealt, maybe?

This DB Ka'Dar Hollman is getting some buzz. DB is pretty deep at the moment but it's a position I expect GB to be willing to go 1 over on just from past experience.

I have pretty severe sleep apnea and had to have a colonoscopy done, which usually you aren’t asleep for. But because of the apnea, the Anastasia doctor put me under with fentanyl. I was out so quick lol

I think the front 7 is going to be insane, I love it. I also like the safety duo and the potential of the young corners.

I once had 38 of my 56 wisdom teeth pulled and I asked the dentist how this could have happened to me. He reminded me that I was a Tiger Shark.

D is looking extremely strong across the board. The thing it's missing is a playmaker to look like an elite one.

Clark is the best player on the D but his position simply doesnt lend itself to that role. In all likelihood it's going to be on one of Gary/Savage/Alexander to take up that role (problem is all of them are probably a year away from that)

I think it is going to be absolutely impossible to run against the size/speed/power of this front 7. And Blake is going to be so freed up to attack the ball, it is going to be really fun to watch. If our secondary can be simply average, we will be like a top 7 defense this year.

I am very excited about the D as well, feel like we have speed and playmaking at every level of the defense and all of the players are in their prime or ascending, essentially.

Far less optimistic on the offense, given the lack of weapon additions and skepticism about LaFleur's scheme, but we will see.
