I think the biggest reason people criticize LeBron is fatigue. He is the pillar that holds up the NBA of the last 15 years... maybe 90% of telecasts mentions his name, he is in a ton of commercials, his free agency forays dominate the off seasons, he is easy fodder to drive sports radio ratings, etc. there comes a point when a backlash is inevitable.

I do think some are jealous, racist, etc. But most are just a little sick of him.

I personally think he is the best player since Jordan, maybe even better than Jordan (its hard to compare such different styles), and yet I still am just tired of the guy.

I doubt he is too worried about me.

I'd still think it was over the top and a little nutty though mostly harmless. I'd also still think that he should stay the **** off the court.

I'd still trade Midds for him.

I criticize LeBron for trying to curb stomp Giannis.

I like what Shannon sharpe said. Exact same scenario but insert Lavar Ball into Lebron’s place. Guessing the narrative is a bit different. Video in case you haven’t seen it:

I swear some people just aren't familiar with AAU. This isn't HS ball. This is AAU.

There are almost no fans, the officials make about 1/2 what MSCR pays rec league officials and a coach/parent from each team mans the scorers table. Players from the next game are frequently on the court opposite play getting jumpers in. This is a SMALL step away from Y open gym.

Yelling at LeBron about showing up at a messy AAU site and bringing joy to literally every single person in the gym is so mindnumbingly stupid it defies reason.

Love that so many (barely hanging on) longtime NBA vets have opted for the Euroleague this summer. It’s great for the life cycle of basketball. They extend their careers at a high level and the development of young Euros is enhanced by going up against guys with significant NBA experience. Understand money is money, but when NBA vets go to China I feel like their hoop souls die a little bit. Europe offers a far more satisfying scratch for the competitively itchy.

LOL at the Knicks’ plan to mess up their free agency by signing Melo, had they got two superstars to sign.

I still wish that instead of the traditional G league team, NBA teams would partner with clubs like Mega Lek or something to that effect. Or maybe the answer is both, just think it would be so good for the game to have an international minor league system of some kind

Patrick Patterson was absolutely garbage last year. Worst player in the league levels of garbage.

Patrick Patterson has always been one of those players that sounds great in theory, but rarely great when he's on your team.

He had a few solid years in Toronto but I agree with this assessment. One of those guys “smart” pundits have always loved because his best attributes were things they valued at disproportionately high level to his struggle areas. Continue to wonder if DJ Wilson is a junior Pat Patterson.

Perfect. Some distant Brian Cook ancestry as well, on his father’s side.

If you rank Lebron in the list from classiest/good guys to the scum of the earth, he is probably in the 40%-tile (totally scientific) leaning towards classy/good human being. The amount of anger for him acting like a 'horse's ass' is pretty high IMO. How do you feel about Jordan? Jason Kidd? Charles Barkley? Larry Sanders? Ruben Patterson? Josh Jackson? JR Smith? OJ Mayo? Lebron wouldn't even ranked in my top 100 worst human beings that played in the NBA the last 10 years. He's in the James Harden/Russell Westbrook/Aaron Rodgers where I would hate to have a beer with the guys, but at least the worst they are doing is a being a dick every once in a while. They aren't severely physically or emotional hurting anyone.

Hell, Miles F-ing Plumlee has a longer rap sheet than Lebron:
Plumlee, Miles
SEP 7
Charge: Marijuana possession
Arrest Date: August 20, 2017
Franchise: Atlanta Hawks
Age 28
Details: Plumlee was charged with fifth degree marijuana possession following an arrest in Shelter Island, New York. No other details have been made public.

Griffin is an idiot. No **** your team isn’t going to be “organic” when you’re capped out with a superstar and 2 other star players. Jesus Christ, it’s also the reason you were able to add vets at league minimum who definitely could’ve earned more elsewhere.

The problem wasn’t LeBron’s roster in Cleveland, the problem was that Golden State had an all time team that fit perfectly within this era of basketball. Griffin just put a target on his back for no reason whatsoever. He can take his organic roster in New Orleans and see how **** hard it is to make the Finals in this league. I’m not even a LeBron guy, but man that pissed me off.

Re: LeBron the fan dad

LeBron gets it from his mom. We're all just aspects of our parents, and that's life.

Perhaps rather than ridiculing nature, we should invest our efforts in preserving it.

I thought Delonte West got it from Lebron's mom?
