I think Simmons and Doncic are likely top 20 players, which is hella impressive given their age. I'm looking forward to seeing Luka's game grow in year 2 and 3 - what a fun player to watch.

Despite the fact that he can't shoot, Simmon's is incredible. Now if he could hit 3's at even a league average level - he'd be an annual top 5 player. His instincts, playmaking, and defense are just too good. If he doesn't start shooting in games this year, it's a massive miss (pun intended) for the 76ers organization. They could even pay him $1000 for every 3 pointer he takes. It'd be worth the $ in the long run.

I voted Kyrie, but Gobert and Green are worthy choices too. I'm not sold on KAT.

KAT was 23 years old last year and is coming off back-to-back seasons where he was:

2018: 16th in RPM and 10th in PER
2019: 23rd in RPM and 4th in PER

Doesn’t take a lot of improvement from there (at an age where bigs often make a major leap) for him to be a top 12 guy. I feel like he and Draymond both have very strong cases and you could choose either one and be fine. Gobert I have no idea where the love’s coming from.

He didnt even get better this season as opposed to a guy like blake who had his best season at the age of 29-30 and carried the pistons to the playoffs. Thats the definition of reinventing your game like blake.

I could see towns as a top 16-20 player this upcoming season though but so far he seems like a guy who just puts up stats with no real impact in terms of winning, atleast would be nice if he could get his team to the postseason this year.

The only one of those players who was actually any good is Covington and he only played 22 games. Teague’s a below average PG who played 42 games. Rose wasn’t even a rotation player before coming to Minnesota. Wiggins is arguably the worst starter in the entire league. Like that’s just an awful supporting cast. I think he absolutely impacts winning and was just on a team where that was very difficult. Yeah, he had a bad series against Houston in 2018, but some growing pains are to be expected when you’re a 22 year old playing in the postseason for the first time and taking on one of the best teams in the history of the NBA. I wouldn’t hold that against him for the future as much as I would Gobert failing year in and year out.
