Hornibrook got passed over at FSU for the starting gig there...unsurprisingly.

There was an epic quote from the coaches about his movement in the pocket.

Nice...wonder what the odds are that Saban is still there. He's 67.

Surprised Bama agreed to a home and home instead of a one off neutral site game.

Look, I get that none of the players currently on each team will be there by the time the teams first meet, but it remains deeply weird that upper middle management figures so prominently in college promotion.

This is exactly what should have happened vs. Notre Dame.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Cephus was found not guilty of two counts of sexual assault.

Edit: I didn't follow the case that closely but this ADA is a pile of ****.

At one point Brown asked Cephus if it was fair to say he had "millions of dollars riding on being found not guilty," indicating Cephus' prospect in a career in football.

The question drew gasps from the courtroom, which has been packed all week with Cephus' friends and family members. Hanrahan told the jury to disregard Brown's comment.

I don't know if he did or didn't sexually assault them, but I'd be pretty pissed if I was the two women and that question was asked.

It’s obviously good for Cephus but it still sucks that his career was derailed. I wonder what’s next for him. Really enjoyed watching him on the Badgers.

I bet Bucky Badger plays Boo Radley in the movie adaptation of this saga

Probably a juco type thing and then one last year at a major team next year.

Or knowing major conference teams, if he’s ready, I wonder if some powerhouse with an open scholarship will just take him right now.

I'm not sure what the point of that question is from an ADA's perspective. That he'd lie because of his NFL dreams? I think he'd have a reason to lie even if he didn't have millions riding on it. Defendants in general don't go to trial to admit guilt. They go to secure an acquittal, and that means doing whatever you can to get it. If the truth is on your side, you'll tell the truth. If the truth isn't on your side, you'll lie. Whether you're an NFL prospect or a regular joe.

Well I don't think his WR's want to leave the field after he throws an int.

Really too bad about Cephus and hope he finds success elsewhere. Basically was the start to a really disappointing year last year.

A lot of what might have been. Him breaking a route in the BYU changes the confidence of the team. Not a championship team but definitely top 25

Lots of players tweeting in support of him coming back right now.

Gonna be interesting because he was kicked off the team, expelled, etc. and I don't think Chryst is very open to him coming back. It's possible that he wants to push through overturning the expulsion and other things so he can sue the school and/or gain eligibility faster but I'm somewhat speaking out of my ass here, don't know all of the details. Still seems unlikely that they'd be reunited.

Separate from the criminal investigation there is a Title IX investigation that the school needs to do if they haven't done it already. In that investigation UW only needs to find that Cephus violated the school's Code of Conduct or equivalent.

It's the same thing that happened to Minny's team a few years ago. Players got kicked off the team because of Title IX ruling, but were never criminally charged with sexual assault.
