Thurman looked like he was gaining momentum and that body shot swung the fight back in Pacquiao’s favor. Bet you he fights Khan next. He’s gonna keep getting them paydays with opponents he can beat.

Pac cant be a gatekeeper if the condition of fighting him is to look the other way on drug testing. Only fighters looking to cash out (emphasis on 'out') will be signing.

I.e. Spence isn't going to sign to lose his 0 to a 41 yo w the hormone profile of a 16 yo and enough EPO to wake a corpse.

Not really. Not year-round. Just whatever the local athletic commission demands (in Macau, Vegas, wherever).

There was a brief period where he submitted to VADA but he, now, and conspicuously given all the drug rumors (even Teddy Atlas assumes them), refuses VADA.

He dragged his feet on fighting Mayweather because of drug testing. For like 5 years. Claiming he had some holistic concern with drawing blood. When he finally agreed to certain terms of USADA, his performance sucked.

It's all pretty sus. No VADA/USADA testing for Broner, no testing against Thurman. He's such a cash cow, fighters are willing to look the other way. Thurman just claimed it wasn't a big deal, sweeping the issue under the rug.

 even with PEDs Spence still beats Pacquiao. They can only take a fighter so far.

Spence will be making more money in one fight than he has his entire career fighting Pac. He’s going to sign regardless of VADA testing. Haymon will make sure of it.

Also I’m almost certain he fights Danny Garcia or Porter next. Then gets fed to Spence to pass the torch in PBC land.

He looked unbelievable on Saturday. That lead hand is so fast, so skilled. I don't think he can beat Spence but a stack of EPO and HGH (like hell the Texas commission would be testing for these) might make it pretty damn tight.

Thurman had no chance, Pac Man is still at the top of his game and I see no reason for him to retire if he's going to keep making 20M a fight. Always thought Thurman was overrated and he almost got KO his last fight. Spence is still the top dog in that division. He will take on Porter which should be light for him. Pac Man should avoid Spence at all costs, that guy can probably retire Pac.

Damn, Maxim Dadashev died from head trauma injuries he suffered over the weekend.

Which is why I kind of roll my eyes whenever casual boxing fans accuse fighters of quitting or not going out on their shield. You simply don't know unless you've stepped into that ring.

Damn, man, Tank with a live opponent in the ring and the dude just got careless. That was going to be a close match but Nunez needed to posture. I was really impressed with his movement for those 1.5 rounds.

Yea Nunez got carried away and kept leaving himself open . Davis vs. Loma needs to happen right now. I can see that being a trilogy fight.

Tyson Fury vs Otto Wallin

TV - ESPN+USA

Its about that time fight fans the heavyweight saga continues with the mighty Tyson 2Fast Fury up against Otto Wallin in Las Vegas.
Gonna buy that extra extra food and drink invite the sports fans round and see a master class ring entrance and performance by the furious one. Fury showing no signs of pressure he sounding looking like a champion. Let the games begin once again.

I'm hearing Deontay Wilder may not rematch Tyson Fury but there is a contract in place.

In all my years of watching boxing, Fury's cut has to be one of the nastiest I've ever seen.

Badu Jack's is the worst I've ever seen, split right down the middle between his eyebrows.

Oh yeah! That's definitely Number 1. I remember getting queasy several times.

Whatabout that guy that had an actual softball sized lump grow out of his forehead right above his brow? That was gruesome.

What a fight! Not even over yet! I don't even care who wins at this point entering the championship rounds.

Ooo that 11th round KD could decide the fight there.
