Interesting slate of opening night games. The league apparently loves them some Zion

For those who didn't see

Pelicans at Raptors
Clippers vs Lakers
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

NBA drooling over the Pelicans, already tired of it.

I get the potential aspect with Zion is through the roof but doesnt his entire skill set and build just scream bust in today's NBA?

This BIG3 game is hilarious. Big Baby is just literally fat. For whatever reason Corey Maggette looks jacked and in shape

I wouldn't say that, he kind of breaks the mold as far as elite athletes at his size & skill(which I think is being underrated). My main worry about him is if he can stay healthy playing the way he does as heavy as he is. It's hard to comprehend how big Zion actually is, the only guy listed heavier than him is 7'3" monster Boban Marjonovic. He might be the most jacked guy in NBA history and he's only 19 years old, unreal!

Sam Dekker to Russia, as the prophecies of Chuck Diesel have been proclaiming for years and years.

I don’t understand why the NBA even pretends to list players’ weights. Jokic being listed at 250 is absolutely hilarious. He’s easily 290 if not 300. Embiid can’t be too far behind him.

The Draymond extension is well balanced for both sides. He gets the extra years while GSW get him at well below max.

Wonder how that will impact Olivia's broadcasting career or their marriage.

Perhaps rather than ridiculing nature, we should invest our efforts in preserving it.

I thought Delonte West got it from Lebron's mom?

Woj tweeted it was a max extension, but seems like it is below the max, right?

I'm sticking with my comparable of Larry Johnson, who didn't age well:

I believe it's the max he could sign right now. If he waited a year though he could have blown this out of the water

Larry Johnson kicked ass, until he hurt his back.

Zion already has more perimeter skills than early career LJ.

I kind of see a similar career, as well. Rookie of the year. 20-10. Insane exposure (LJ was on Family Matters). But sure, eventually that back or those knees are gonna be trouble. Just too muck weight and torque on those poor bastards.

I hope we can all agree to enjoy the Zion show while it lasts. I mean.. how do you defend him without getting manhandled, or fouling? Its impossible.

Not saying he’ll get there but Zion has real Sir Charles potential IMO.
