With great power comes great responsibility, fans makes this game, if there werent fans, you wouldnt make millions of dollars for playing a game, so you own something to them. They dont even play for free, they still get daily allowance that is more than some people still make in a month. Its only can be called playing for free because it looks that way relatively to their actual salaries in clubs, that are thousands times bigger than any of ours.
I agree with you. There's certainly a sense of entitlement, but at the end of the day it's their personal choice even if the fans don't respect it.
More on topic, how good do you think Bogut is at this point in his career? I know he's not much of a factor in the NBA, but he makes me uneasy and I think there's a possibility he could dominate this World Cup.
I agree that its a choose, I understand I sounded like i think they own something, they probably don't, you can decline, but I am still disappointed. I just like players who play for their country more, thats just me.
I think Bogut can be their most valuable player actually, speaking in context. They will play Lithuania in a group stage, and if they want to get out of this deadly group, they probably need to win that game. Key to beating Lithuania will be stopping Valanciunas and Sabonis, and Bogut is still very capable of that, he is their counter to Lithuanian stars. Bogut and Baynes is key of surviving this group of death.
