Legit concerns about matchups, particularly in Mia's own conference where Bam will have to go up against the likes of Drummond, Jordan, Embiid, Kanter, and Turner among others. Mia must shoot at a higher efficiency to counteract the inevitable rebounding deficiency that they will be dealing with.

So, those 3 shouldn't be this team's top 3 scorers?

Not to mention Philly entire starting lineup is Huge.

You are talking about the season of 2023 or 24?

Heat still paying him back for not accepting that Dallas contract.

I'm beginning to wonder if that's the case anymore. he could be assistant HC and could possible make the similar amount of the money if that's the only issue? he clearly has a desire to stay with the team as a player's capacity and team is respecting his wish. it is what it is, and there is definitely some value in his mentorship

Butler will obviously be one of the team's leading scorers.

Adebayo with more range could decide to attempt about 10-11 shots a game.

Herro isn't afraid to shoot.

Only person really stopping Herro from being a top 3 scorer on the team is Winslow.

Tyler Herro is a rookie who will very likely be coming off the bench as a 9th or 10th guy in the rotation bro

Well go and do it then.

oh maybe it's not so easy!

I'm just saying that it's probably harder for players to pass up on vet min than ever and older players are more likely to stick around.

2.6 is a little short of what mid-level exception used to be to sign guys like Ray Allen and Battier. considering how NBA average salary has gone up, it's no surprise that they raised the minimum salary though.

He only has to beat out Waiters for the starting job which shouldn't be too hard to do unless late run 2016-17 Waiters makes an appearance.

Waiters isn't starting regardless, because Jimmy Butler plays his best basketball as a 2. And Dragic is still the best point guard on the roster, so he's definitely starting. From there, if Winslow isn't a priority over Waiters, that's a failure on Spoelstra and the organization's part.

Dragic had a lower TS% than Point Winslow...This isn't 2017 anymore. Winslow is obviously a better player than Dragic right now.

Erik Spoelstra likes UD's locker room presence and leadership as a vet. He apparently mentors the young guys and is a 3x NBA champion. I'm okay with the move. However I am not sure if we retire his number, although I would not be opposed to it.

he's a benchwarmer right now.as a matter of fact, i wouldnt have any issues with him being promoted to some type of assistant coach because then he would be doing something. dont get me wrong UD is a true heatlifer and deserves his banner but as a player his time on the court has past

It's not an issue, you're only imagining that it's an issue. We ranked top 10 in rebounding last season, losing Hassan isn't going to hurt us much there.

lol, Hassan was giving a double double while playing with a "poor attitude" in just over 20mpg. It's gonna hurt

And we replaced Richardson's 3 rebounds a game with Butler's 5 rebounds a game. Also, Jones Jr. will play more games this season than last season. You guys are overreacting like you always do. Just because we lost Hassan's rebounding doesn't mean we're 10 rebounds a game worse now. And what about the benefits of not having Hassan anymore? We're a better passing team now.

that phooker goodboy still owes 2.5

he should try to get a vet min to pay it off

I was not trolling. I do hope the Heat retire UD's number. He truly deserves it.

Thought you were talking out of the side of your ass, but we were 8th in rebounding last year... I stand corrected.

Wow, we must have sucked bad last yr for me not to realize something like that
