Hield played for the Bahamas as recently as last year. It’d be kinda cool if he and Ayton could make their island nation into a relevant hoops squad. Woulda loved to have seen Kennard and Winslow in the mix but I’m guessing they declined invites.

Final Australian squad announced.

Some pretty handy players didn't make the cut, it wouldn't be a Lemanis picked squad if he wasn't having to spend more time about the guys who didn't make it than the guys who did.

Thats a tough Boomer squad, most NBA teams would have problems against them.

I'm bullish on punched/kicked testicle (P/KT) futures with Bogues, Baynes and Delly on the scene.

By problems, do you mean beat them 115 to 60?

I hate the way most American media covers the World Championship/Cup. Always a gloomy focus on who isn’t there and why they turned down invites , how much of a “C list” the roster is and how little NBA fans care. How bout coming up with some interesting content on the 29 dudes who ARE attending camp and the tournament as a whole? Plenty of worthwhile storylines.

Excuse me, ma'am- Patty Mills is on that team. It'd be more like 125 to 80.

Creek or Adel should be in over Gliddon for mine, bit disappointing but we'll see how the lineups look.

Side note I used to play against Gliddon in our state comp through juniors as Bunbury is close to Perth in Western Australia. I don't think he ever missed a shot in any game I was involved in haha

The two USA/Boomer games in Melbourne are gonna be awesome. Likely USA’s toughest contests before the knockout rounds. The Aussies aren’t gonna be easy outs twice in a row on their soil.

With the injuries to Lowry and Smart and the all the reporting/highlights about who’s shown well through three days of camp, this would be my roster right now. Looking forward to the scrimmage Friday night.

Walker/Fox/Derrick White
Mitchell/Brown
Middleton/Tatum/Harris
Tucker/Barnes
Lopez/Bam

I wouldn't bet a dollar on any team lower than 5 seed to beat them in FIBA rules

They let you play a little rough in FIBA rules, and that Boomer team has some of the greatest goons going round. Would not want to be the guy trying to chase Patty around through screens.

Middleton looks like he's lost a bit of weight. Looks slimmer in the team USA jersey and in the face as well.

Bam and Thad Young cut, Derrick White and Marvin Bagley called up from the select team. With all the glowing reports on White and how good he looked in the scrimmage I don’t know how you can leave him off. Bagley being the front court guy to emerge over Bam, Jaren Jackson and John Collins is a little surprising but good for him. His athleticism could really be a factor. Much to our chagrin, Tatum also looked really good.

17 guys left to be paired down to 12.

Walker/Lowry/Fox
Mitchell/White/Smart
Middleton/Tatum/Brown/Harris
Tucker/Barnes/Kuzma/Bagley
Lopez/Turner/Plumlee

I wonder if Plumlee is being kept around with Jokic in mind. Went back and watched Bucks at Nuggets from early November, Lopez and Jokic both really struggled to get out to another at the three point line.

I remember Redd really leaned out after playing in Olympics and was looking better passing/defender, of course then he blew his knee out.

I found a picture where you can see muscle definition on his arm :reporter:

He has definitely lost some fat/gained muscle.
