I think this is what is really instrumental to our team culture. Those guys are all working out together and attending mini camps together. That’s how you bond and build chemistry before you even hit official training camp.

So we know all our young guys are together but we are not sure about OG, Mccaw

Everyone keeps on saying that.... What actual improvements have you guys seen? Y'all just raptors homers.

Trust me man, I don't miss games

OG is just hype beast Aminu

Dude can't dribble, moves like a robot, when he runs his legs are 2 feet ahead of his body, not a strong rebounder, good 1 on 1 defender when on man but his help D and rotations aren't anything special.

Facts. Ppl who don't see it have raptors blinders on.

Aminu, Wilson chandler, Jae crowder, pj tucker etc etc ..... You don't build a team as these role players as your core, they're complimentary pieces.

What the hell is exactly the problem of developing a pj Tucker aminu type in our system? That's exactly what we did with FVV is it not, look how great that payed off for us.

That looked sweet. His landing, not so much. I wince almost every time I see him land after a dunk.

Problem? No. Every team needs role players as complimentary pieces. Ppl here look at OG as a pillar to build a team going forward, which he is not.

Maybe not for another week until he returns from his home town Cameroon. It's his first time back there since before college (he couldn't even go back when his father died in a car accident while he was in school). I'd expect he's gonna be there for a bit. So far Rico is working with Thomas Bryant, Trez Harrell, Austin Daye (Lol), and Trevor Ariza....BOOORING

to be fair, we are all speculating. We really don't know if OG can become more than he is but one for sure, he's a controllable asset that plays a role player's role. OG is a consummate 3+D player at the 3 and 4. Masai's job is to bring in star players that OG can compliment right now.

nothing with OG growing with the team and even being a long term member. Raptors aren't building around him. no one builds around role players but high end role players are needed to win.
raf1995 wrote:I just don’t think he has that kind of potential. I think we will regret not trading him for a haul in a few years when he’s a mid-tier starter with nice playmaking and defense and a shaky jumper.

Agreed. He could be a valuable player even if he doesn't become a star. I was just stating he isn't someone who should be considered off limits when it comes to trades given people's unrealistic expectations of him

Pretty nice angle of the dunk.
Siakam's handles have definitely improved.

hes gonna get MVP consideration if we are a top 3 team in East. when u start playing late your ceiling is a lot higher then normal, so much you still need to cover and get good at.

Pascal can definitely play point forward or small forward with those handles
