the pick 6 was an atrocious throw. It's like he didn't even read the defense.

Very impressive debut for Jones even for a preseason game. Most rookies especially in their first game action would be a little nervous and have happy feet. Jones stayed in the pocket calmly, made a quick decision based on his read and threw it where it had to be. This kid will make a lot of people look silly for their draft assessment.

Jets fan coming in peace. I actually think Haskins is way overhyped and liked Jones more than him. A lot of people fail to see how good Jones was in college considering the absolute lack of talent around him.

He looked good. I am still a person of judgement, and I will wait to see how he looks next week vs. the Bears.

oh 100% I wanted nothing to do with Haskins. System QB with 3 big time talents at WR who were all drafted and a outstanding offensive line.

Jones played with zero...let me repeat "0" drafted players his career at Duke. He is smart, can read defenses, is a sneaky good athlete and while he doesn't have a howitzer of an arm...he throws with anticipation and has enough arm strength to make all the throws...actually throws a nice deepball.

I think most giants fans we more concerned with him where he was picked because it was a "qb class". But if we were picking a QB Jones was 100% the qb for the Giants.

Giants doing some nice things in this first half. Eli and the 1st team O-line looked sharp. Smith and Perkins running the ball through the holes. Lattimer and Fowler made some nice catches. Benny Fowler looks like he will see a lot of red zone opportunities as a 3rd reciever this season. The defense is getting pressure and closing out series.

Daniel Jones once again looked great despite the 2 fumbles. Both came with 2nd unit O-linemen and those kind of mistakes are expected for any rookie. His timing, ball placement and decision making has been phenomenal though. That TD pass to TJ Jones was perfection. 11-14 161 yards with 1 TD 138.4 QB rating. #6 draft pick will be a steal soon.

Don’t think that team is bad enough to tank. They won a playoff game last season.
