Both would of course be great, one of the two would be good. I am with you though in my opinion the future is with AG / JI and a primary play maker.

JIs height and length really stands out when he is guarding Tatum in the first clip.

Judah's perimeter defense already looking improved. Same with the confidence on the drives. You can tell he's really not making it easy on Team USA. And not even trying to show them up, he's just doing him. lol

I wonder who won the scrimmage.. and who JI guarded the most..

I'm very high on both and their potential longterm together, but if you are expecting both to develop into superstars I think you will find yourself disappointed. If both can just become All-star reserve type talents I will be ecstatic. Pairing them next to Vuc and a potentially healthy Fultz is a top 3 team in the East for the foreseeable future.

Right now this roster 100% has questions, but it's nice to know that it does at least have the potential to be a top team in the East if guys develop.

Pretty good night for JI. Thought he struggled a bit defensively (kept slipping for some reason) and looked a bit nervous at the start but settled in nicely and finished second on the team in scoring with 11 pts, 5 rebounds,4 steals, and 2 assists.

His handle looked much tighter in that clip. He did this exact same thing in college quite a bit but struggled with a high dribble and overall lack of ball handling. Its clearly something he’s been working on though and that’s exciting.

Ready for the season already.

He competed defensively, wasn't amazing but he was active and hustling as he dove on the ground for possession. The shot is still a work in progress, he has to get it to a point where the motion is consistent every time. At times he seemed like he rushed the shot but the one he did hit was in rhythm. He had some nice drives to the rim, he's been working on his handle clearly.... I like the progress there but he can improve there. This can't be anything but good experience for him competing against high level players.......just think he's going to be even better when training camp starts.
