It woudn't be much of a fight.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

He's the king of empty stats. He's Kanter bad defensively.

I was thinking about next years Free Agent crop and there are 2 priorities. RE-signing Royce O'Neal and more shooting.

I say since we have the full MLE go get Joe Harris from Brooklyn for 4 years $36M.

Re-sign Royce for 4/$32M-$50M depending the season he has.

Then draft Jordan Nwora our future 4.

Harris is getting more than the MLE, probably something similar to what we just gave Bogdanovic. Other than Curry, and Klay, Joe Harris is the best shooter in the league.

I disagree. He's a better Reggie Bullock. Not enough athleticism or handle to get much more than that.

Sounds good, but what about 6 years from now? What should we do that year?

I really like Joe Ingles, but I think the number one priority for extension should have been 26 year old O'Neale rather than Ingles, who will be 34 years old entering his extension season. Or maybe extend them both. O'Neale is becoming one of the best three and D players in the league imo. Is it already too late to extend O'Neale?

He can extend any time and go up to $11M to start IIRC. They should try to lock him up like the Cav's did with Cedi.

Ryan Anderson waived. Any interest for the Jazz? The team is extremely thin at PF/C. He was a pretty nice shooter until last year. He's not going to help with rebounding or do much on D, though. Probably worth a vet-min contract to someone ....

He's done...... If you can't cut it in Houston, which requires you to just be able to stand at the 3 point line and shoot, you're done......

If we had last season's roster I'd say it's worth a shot but we have Bojan now, who is the same type of player and at this point in their careers is much better.

I don't think they are close to the same player. Bojan is a far more well-rounded scorer/player, much shorter, and is more of a wing while Anderson is a "big" (who doesn't play very big). Regardless, I'm not suggesting it's a great Jazz move, but at the same time, anyone who can make a shot would be helpful for the Jazz at this point. (Didn't think I'd ever need to say that about this years team.)

Need another big who can guard and shoot the 3. I'd like the jazz to sign Jones again. Already knows the system.
