It’s a big statement that he got an invite. You guys are too hard on a lot of these players. Bam not making the team isnt an indictment on his status in the league, they needed size on the team. Did any of you watch the scrimmage yesterday? I saw Bam stand next to Isaac, Isaac towered over him. He really has power forward size. how anybody can say its not a good look he’s not on the team is beyond me..they were short on bodies and he got a call at the last minute lets atleast pretend to be real about it

Jordan didn't survive his varsity team's final cut as a high school sophomore... BAM!

I agree.
Being cut translates to Bam not being all that great as of right now. Look Bam has a big time shooting deficiency and although he plays with effort, his game seems wild and raw more times than not.

They barely used size in last night's scrimmage...I'm guessing they just prefer having big men that can shoot on the roster. Also, Adebayo is a good size for a center. Paul Millsap is 6-8 and no one says he has "small-forward size".

They just don't want centers on their team or want big names. Bagley played terrible yesterday and he's probably going to make the team. Isaac wasn't good either.

What does that have to do with the point I was making?

Does size dictate what position you play?

Milsap has always been considered an undersized pf

Yes, if you don't have size you must really do something exceptional to compensate your lack of size.

poor bam but this should be a wake up call for him to work on his weaknesses.otherwise,he could find himself to be a benchwarmer throughtout his career

So you can guarantee me that Millsap would've been a better player today if he was 6-10?

I feel like we're the worst fan base on the forum when it comes to being confident about our players. Adebayo a benchwarmer after last season, really?

Yes with the same skill set. Look at Giannis. Milsap is a lot more skilled than Giannis.

That helps my argument. If Millsap was 6-10 he would probably be a worse shooter.
