I like this one more. Isaac going left and going high off the glass with his left hand, this is a new skill !

I liked em both. The one i posted just got me... cuz he went coast to coast and didn't even attempt to stop and pull out "just because"... read the situation and said.... "I got this!"

Jonathan last year would have passed the ball immediately after the rebound.... or pick up his dribble at 3 and look to another player.

There aren't gonna be players that could contain that one on one. Smaller players are too small... and bigger players would be too slow.

Only shot 3/10.... but gotta love the assertiveness.

Seems like it. Guess we'll get our "Juice" jersey and matching court from time to time, but we'll have to wait another year before the total rebrand.

I'm disappointed, but as soon as they released the "above all" add with the same logo, I was glad to see we didn't change the uniform. We need all new, not just new unis, but a new logo. Juice will have to hold us over.

That's like back in the old days when whoever had the mismatch would post them up. Markelle should be able to do that with players like Trae Young.

Lets hope so...he's been pretty ineffective posting up in the past.

(18-19) 58-138 at 42.0 FG%
(17-18) 35-74 at 47.3 FG%
(16-17) 26-64 at 40.6 FG%

If he can consistently get himself an unassisted shot inside the restricted area - he should be able to score effectively....especially if he attacks the rim and doesn't fade and shy away from contact - it should increase his FTA's. Vucevic's increased 3PT shooting and Bamba having that capacity to do so as well should help open up more space for him down there also.

...but if he isn't able to create a shot and gets stuck outside the restricted area, he's been absolutely terrible in that low post 5-9' range:

(18-19) 26-75 at 34.7 FG%
(17-18) 10-50 at 20.0 FG%
(16-17) 17-62 at 27.4 FG%

Just going by those numbers when he didn't settle for a 5-9 ft fall away shot in 2018-19, he was 32-63.

I remember Lisa Leslie told him to use his muscle to get to the basket late in the season. He was patient and took it all the way to the basket a few times that game.

Hopefully that was a turning point for him. He doesn't have to settle with his strength and quickness.

Yea- if he attacks the rim and doesn't fade and shy away from contact - it should increase his FTA's and help make his shot volume more sustainable.

It should hypothetically also increase his gravity from the dunker spot to help open up space for others.

He just has to not let the defense off the hook by reverting to those fade-aways and low value short jumpers on post-ups.

He medically withdrew and was not "dropped".

“I was hoping to be available in time to help my country in their quest for gold in this upcoming tournament,” Lowry wrote on Instagram. “I love playing for USAB but I have to sit this one out and support the team from home.”
