Fultz always speaks in code. Meaning, he doesn't say things like, having a good day working out at the Magic's facility. He always leaves things open to people who want to try and decipher his code.

Tbh it doesn't seem normal.

Maybe it's the way kids talk on social media and I don't understand.

I would not put too much stock into tweets of players. He might use tweeter as some sort of motivation, but tweeter is filled with trolls and attention wh***s much like any other social media.
I just find it mindblowing that people who follow him on tweeter -leave hate comments, like dude, why do you really follow him for?

That's really disappointing since the championship winning PG is chubby. I compared the situation to another player so clearly my opinion is right.

Let's say Fultz comes back to summer league Fultz (video below for whoever forgot) and starts the season and looks healthy for the most part and isn't lighting the world on fire due to being rusty and still developing (probably most realistic scenario).

If Washington called at deadline and demanded Flutz and an unprotected FRP for Beal (Fournier as a filler) would you guys pull the trigger?

We'll enter the second half of the season with Augustine/Beal/Isaac/Gordon/Vuc or would the unknown be too much to give up?

If Fultz is a "competent" PG that can replace Augustin by the start of the 2021/21 season, the Magic's most glaring need will be a free-agent upgrade at the SG slot in the 2021 off-season.

If Washington called at deadline and demanded Flutz and an unprotected FRP for Beal (Fournier as a filler) would you guys pull the trigger?

Would the Magic trade Fultz and Fournier for 18 months so they could take a stab at offering Beal a max deal?

Maybe not. Fournier (and perhaps Fultz) come off the books coincident with Beal. Orlando could simply try to sign Beal in the 2021 off-season. And when Fournier's deal expires, I expect exactly something like that.

I'd take a shot on the unknown, if fultz can come back to 100% then he has the potential to be quite a bit better than Beal.

Assuming Fultz comes back healthy as the prospect everyone thought he was, that would be an easy no for me. Fultz was still healthy at that point. I'm taking 5+ seasons of a player who's ceiling is arguably higher than Beals over a guy who can walk in 2.

Whether he can actually come back healthy is obviously an entirely different question though. I have more hope now than I did 3 weeks ago.

Fultz is as safe as can be for the next year.
With his potential and our NEEDS, all he needs is minor improvements once in a while to have management frothing at the mouth.
