It's the standard for most movies, especially when they invovle high calibre stars who are worth a lot of money.
The people involved in the movie aren't going to put LeBron in a situation where he is going to get himself injured making the film. And you're not even going to notice the stunt double in most cases. And they aren't always used ON screen, they could be used to set up a shot, to get the lighting and the position of the camera correct by having the stunt doubles in place of the actual actors before they actually film the shot.
