Bleacher Report Predicts Every Teams Record

Post#1 » by HMFFL » Mon Aug 12, 2019 9:13 pm

24. Atlanta Hawks (33-49)

Another up-and-comer, the Hawks' young core of John Collins, Trae Young and Kevin Huerter could lead this team close to a .500 ceiling. Conventional wisdom suggests they still need some time, though.

I wouldn't be too sad if we get the lottery one more time. #9 and#11 went up to 1 and 4 last year. As long as the players continue to improve it's a good season.

33.5 is the current win total. I think we get to the mid 40’s.

Daaaaaang, homie. Did you think we were talking about your obsession with cougars?

Mid-40's means we're a step away from being a 50-win team. That seems like a bit much. 33 wins smells about right, but I'd go under 'cause sh*t happens.

 The cougar fix is on at our local golf club bar...the ladies usually have a box of wine and are ready to roll but I digress.

Wait, you can’t possibly think we win less than 33!!! We ain’t the Celtics and sending 4 studs to the national team. Wonder if John Jenkins broke Tatum’s ankles on D? Hmmm.

I honestly think we win about 44 and sneak in as a 7th seed. Al Horford and Philly could have all they can handle in a 2/7 matchup with us.

Atlanta Hawks given ‘somewhat disappointing’ projection by ESPN

As he notes, the estimate isn’t necessarily kind to the Hawks, with 30.4 projected victories and only a 3 percent chance to crash the playoff party.

Another year, another ESPN projection that will ALWAYS have the Hawks winning too few games. I'm sure the last 15 years their projections have been lower than the actual every year meh

Usually it is. I know every year they had us outside of the playoffs when we made it but the Joe/Jamal/Bibby team but even that team, they had us as a bottom of the playoffs team.

Nerves on edge, Hawk fans await their first view of our new team. So many look down on our lowly team, expecting very little improvement from last season. Tis said, you can't really count on the three rookies for anything good and just look at all they lost from last season's poor team.

Dedmon is gone. Prince is gone. Bazemore is gone. Spellman is gone.

Can there be anything good left in Atlanta? Do they really believe? Why? Compared to all the other great NBA teams in the east, do they really believe they can be competitive? Gee.

To answer all the critics, yes we believe. Hawks return a solid base from last season. Yes, we believe our three rookies will come through for us. And, we believe that the players who were not here last season that have been added will help out too !

Bleacher report and many others predict the Atlanta Hawks will have a poor season. Just can't wait to prove them wrong !!

GO ATL HAWKS !!

Last year it had the Hawks winning 3 less than they did.
Two years ago it had the Hawks winning 3 more than they did...

I agree that Defense and Turnovers need tons of improvement.

Return to Atlanta Hawks
