The only time I've noticed celebrities was when they were taller than me. Otherwise people seem pretty inconspicuous.

and most are micro sized. Totally. Bill Murray remains the one dude that caught me off guard.

Penn Jillette... Dude's like 6'8" and 280 at the least. He almost ran me over coming out of a record shop on Melrose... His girlfriend was this tiny Asian Gothic Chick who could fit in his pocket.

I saw Sylvester Stallone on Rodeo Drive one time, he was tiny. I was a kid at the time and towered over him.

I'm 6'7" so just about every "star" I've seen in my life is shorter..... with the exception of the time I very briefly met Kareem at a national AAU function in DC. Also, James Donaldson was there.

I've also seen Stallone in person.... it's a wonder what they can do with camera angles. He's big compared to Seth Green who I saw while staying at the Hard Rock casino a few years ago. He was shooting a scene for a movie at the time. That dude is really small.

Dude I met Sly the night I met Kareem and Magic at the forum and became a hardcore Laker fan. I remember how it changed my view of movies and heroes especially right after getting quick high fives from two of the biggest people I had ever met.

Assigned seats at the movie theater are annoying AF

people always reserve the seats i want ahead of time (i never do, get them when i get there), but i'm always there early so i beat them there most of the time

so i could get the seats i like more often if it wasn't assigned seats, now there isn't any reason for me to be early anymore other than that is what i prefer. plus seems like more people come in late now, knowing they have a seat they want

I borrowed For whom the bell tolls by Hemingway from the library to read on the train commute and its utterly overrated. if I have to read a chapter about some Spanish matador's ballsack again, I'm going to throw this into the North Sea and pay my fines to the library.
