Knicks didn't do anything wrong, they have a right to recruit. I understand the Spurs position on this since they traded a player to make room for Morris.

But that's the chance you chance when official contracts can't be signed in the moratorium period.

Its not really that crazy a statement. Can he play SF? Sure. So could 90% of todays PFs......in 1999. In 2019 hes a PF. I do like him as a player though and I'm glad he can play SF, I just don't know how its gonna work. I've been waiting for the Knicks to sign a SF with guard skills since the day I saw Scottie Pippen so I guess Ive waited this long. Might as well wait some more.

You are what u can guard. If he can keep up with SFs, he’ll be a serviceable SF

I feel like he should start at SG until he gets stronger. He uses his strength to get to the rim and has the size advantage at the 2.

I don’t think Strength is a issue for him

And Scottie Pippen was very weak when he entered the league

Well duh to me. For some reason I forgot about RJ but we'll have to see on that. You might be right. With the way the league is going you're really playing with 3 guard lineups or at least SFs who could play guard and SGs that can run the point. Many point guards act like old school wings. And looking at next years draft and all the SGs it could be RJ at the 3, Knox at the 4 and some stud SG maybe with better guard skills than RJ. (Hopefully a shooter). I'm talking longterm projection. Itll be fun to see how they alldevelop. .

I don't know that he is athletic enough to start but I like him alot. Maybe first wave off the bench down the line. Reminds me in ways of Doug McDermott who I liked as well. I dont have to view them as future stars to like thier game.

We got our Lance Thomas guys with a more aggressive approach. I can see Morris taking 15+ shots in a game and us going nuts about it.

If the Knicks are anything this upcoming season they will be tougher. since they were coaching to tank last season, I see the new recruits adding about 25 wins. I know it sounds nuts but the FO seems to want to actually win some games. don't see more than 2 of the young guns starting, that will be RJ and Money Mitch, and no long leashes to just jack up shots for no reason. if they defend, they will surprise the league. P.S. don't be so hard on me : )

Yeah I loved Sprewell too but still, he was a SG playing SF in something the Knicks don't get credit for.... the first 4 out 1 in small ball lineup.

But anyway, I'm talking about 6'7-6'9 with guard skills. We seemingly love post up SFs
