Windhorst was on Bill Simmons podcast and said Mitchell has been the best player in camp. Stronger than last season. D Wade comparisons were being tossed around.

I think the Kings are gonna surprise people this year. Bagley pulled out of Team USA to prepare for season. Fox and Barnes still there though. Fox looks amazing. Gonna be a great league pass follow.

I bought into the Kings hype last season, but the win/loss didn't match the talent. I think the problem may be more than just the players there. They have Luke Walton coaching them this year, so not exactly a good sign.

The players should be fun to watch though.

The problem with last year was they are in the West, and they still had 39 wins and finished in ninth place. They have the talent and now I think they have a coach that better fits that talent. Luke wants to run and now has the perfect team for it. I think Luke is a better coach than people give him credit for being. I think the spurs and OKC drop out of the playoffs in the kings and Lakers take their spots.

I think guys like Mitchell and Fox are really gonna blow up this season coming off strong performances for Team USA.

Wow, I gotta say it cuts me deep seeing headlines of a Kemba/Donavan Mitchell back court anchored by Myles Turner winning on team USA. That basically should have been our core. We almost had all 3 of them and surely almost had that back court.

I wasn't impressed honestly. Team USA won the game but the Kemba/Mitchell combo wasn't great when they were on the court together.

Team USA really choked this one away. The Aussies have a fun team to watch. 53,000 fans at this game. Fun listening to the Aussie announcers. Shane Heal and Andrew Gaze sure got old. Seems like they were just playing.

Heal and gaze get gigs only because of there playing careers, never were great commentators. Heal is a completely selfish douche
