Yeah he may not have the prime years that he was on path to have before his injuries.

But he'll be fine, he's getting paid millions to rehab and try to come back from injury.

Who is paying him millions to rehab?

What if Cousins want to come back to GS in 2020? Yes, no, maybe so? He's most likely going to be only fielding vet. minimum offers. But regardless, I do hope he doesn't give up on playing.

Warriors paid him $5 million this year and Lakers will be paying him 3.5 million this year.

That $8.5 million he earns in two years will be more than at least 95% of the population will make in their life time.

As for him com8ng back, I don’t think Kerr wants him and he’ll want more than the minimum the Warriors can pay.

It actually just hit me that now 3 of our starters from last season got hit with major & possibly career altering injuries.

Just another reminder not to take your favorite NBA team, their NBA titles or Playoff appearances for granted.

Stupid take. The fact that you're posting on this message board means you're in the top 1% of the planet in wealth - does that mean your problems aren't problems?

These guys live for basketball, and it's all they know. Money aint everything - he's put everything he has into recovering, and something like this is just brutal to the psyche. Hope he has a good network of people around him to help deal.

He's had a long career already and banked more money than most NBA players, let along most normal people.

Injuries are a part of the game. Thousands of pro athletes have had their careers ended by injuries.

If he never plays another minute in the NBA, he'll be fine, time for him to move on to the next phase of his life.

But ACLs don't end careers so he'll earn tens of millions more before he quits.

How long do you guys give Dwight remaining on the Lakers?

I say he's cut by Christmas.

Lakers drama non-stop. Looking forward to the new Lakers learning the level of scrutiny they are under constantly.

I think it's hilarious that Jason Kidd was the one pushing hard for Dwight. Man stupid just doesn't wear off over time I guess.

Kidd is paying dividends already.....for us. Lol

I just read that Wilson Chandler got suspended for 25 games. Dang, I thought the Statute of Limitations on Avi Lee's elbow ran out years ago.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

Bol Bol agreed to a two-way deal ... he was mocked in the top 10 regularly mid-season. That's a heck of a drop. People were saying he'd start for the Warriors if they drafted him.

Kelly Olynyk, Meyers Leonard, Bam Adebayo are the threesome that beat him out for a roster spot.

I would have like Bol to be a Warrior for sentimental reasons, but at the moment I'm wondering if he can survive in the NBA.

I don't understand. How did three players on the Miami Heat beat out Bol Bol, who is on the Denver Nuggets, for a roster spot?

The only thing that makes sense is a serious underlying injury issue. There has to be something in his medicals that has teams scared away.

The kid has skills if he can stay healthy.

Yeah, not a casual issue, but a chronic one ... or at least one they think may be chronic.

If I'm the Nets, I want Durant sitting this whole season. I wouldn't want him to try and come back early.
