Sorry pal....a 10 second video doesn't justify your opinion...

Everything about that drive was wrong.
I'll give him a pass and assume he's not close to 100%.

I wish I never saw it either. It suggests to me that the Raptors are going to try and make Anunoby into an offensive creator, which utterly destroys the Raptors offense. I hope Anunoby isn't creating offense next season.LoveMyRaps wrote:Man, that clip of OG was hella discouraging.

Nah he has to be close to 100% by now. It's been like two years and eight months since he got injured in college. To me, it's more likely he's just not good at driving and creating shots in general.TheBoi10 wrote:Dude looks awful in that clip. Terrible footwork (traveled like a mf) and yet super slow. His lack of fluidity shows in that clip. If that's most of what Anunoby will be doing next season, then I want no part of it.alan_156 wrote:I've been telling you all and been getting a lot of backlash about it, OG is a scrub. Anunoby is fine in an off-ball/5th option role where he can spot up and defend and not have to handle the ball often, but 3-and-D seems to be his ceiling. Anything beyond that (ie. creating offense) and he's not really useful.

If anything OG is pretty much on the same level as those guys but OG was drafted by the Raptors and thus I trust Masai with his drafting and track record.

I agree with a lot of this but I don’t think he’s healthy
Someone in this thread said Danny mentioned he’s still dealing with some type of injury (would explain why he doesn’t play in scrimmages)
But as far as being a creator I don’t really see it either. His handle, fluidity or touch don’t really show much upside there. Might be able to increase his shooting another level or become a better driver in advantage situations
But as a creator it’s very hard to see the upside there. A general rule I think guys who are capable of making mid range jumpers on the move are the ones who have the upside to carrying an above average offensive load.
OG should focus on being a defensive specialist with a passable to good off ball game. He has a ton of upside on that end and that’s where his focus should be on improving the most

You do know that RHJ avg 14ppg two years ago right? You can probably count on one hand how many consecutive double digit games OG's had in his career

and Mike James scored 20 ppg as a Raptors on a very bad team lmao. RHJ did it on a Nets team that finished 28-54. scoring averages on bad teams don't count for role players like RHJ.
