My boys and I led a 'Knicks run Brooklyn" chant after one game we went to where we spanked em, all Nets "fans" could do was keep it moving with their head down.
Can't compare histories, only want to cherry pick last X amount of years, and even then - what do they have to show? Not a damn thing.
VC - never going to claim the nets, will always be remembered as a Raptor
J. Kidd - PHX/Dal/NJ - will never be looked at as only a Net
Who ya got? Richard Jefferson? He went ring chasing and doesn't associate with the Nets
You got Kerry Kittles.
Going back, I could respect Petro, Kenny, and Coleman. that's it. And back then, way behind NYK.

I kind of do see Kidd as a Net. Those were good teams he led.
Plus, Dr. J was the face of the ABA as a Net, but at the end of the day most will think of him as a Sixer. I still think of him as a Net first.
But that is kind of the root of the Nets issue. They're a club with ABA, not NBA, origins, that bounced from Lawn Guy Land to the Swamps of New Jersey before landing in Brooklyn.
The Nets have terrible pedigree and that's what it boils down to.
The Knicks have been at MSG the whole time so suck it New Jersey!

I hope you are aware the Knicks forced an encroachment fee of territorial rights upon the Nets for being a “tri state competition” during the ABA merger which is what forced them into dealing Julius Erving and moving into NJ after losing their best player for cash considerations. They went from a title contender with Dr J to a lottery team.
Still, the Nets still carved out a legacy of names such as now Julius Erving, Kenny Anderson, Nate Archibald, Buck Williams, Bernard King, Albert King, Drazen Petrovic, Stephon Marbury, Jason Kidd, Vince Carter, Kyrie Irving and now most decorated, Kevin Durant is hardly a “terrible” pedigree or history when we look back on it.

Nice try, but being an original NBA team that has always been in town during the history of the NBA simply makes the Knicks the home team in NYC and no amount of petitions and list of accomplishments can do anything to change that.
Sorry New Jersey

Never realized how early, until you mentioned it and took a look. Only three of the original teams never changed their names or relocated: Denver Nuggets, Boston Celtics and The New York Knicks.

Nets have 2 ABA rings(since we talking about back in the day) and 80% of this board wasn’t alive to see them or the knicks rings either so that’s a wash.this is like those cowboy fans talking about “ but but we won back In the day though!”. Lakers got 16 rings but still putting pressure on Lebron to win now. what have you done for me lately
But you right about one thing I’ll be out here(not on your time though you don’t tell me what to do) ain’t trying to get hit with the “easy” button againthe stench of LOSING is strong in here anyway. My goodness. You can smell the 20 wins up in here

He probably doesn't, but bumping knees and tearing an ACL has nothing to do with that though.
You don't tear an ACL from "bumping knees." You tear it because of the physical mechanics of competing forces. That's why it's very important to have strong quads. But I didn't see the injury and really don't know what kind of shape he's in right now. I did see him in the playoffs and he looked way out of shape to me at that time.
