How can you bee so cruel parent and give your kids name Chuka and Chuma?

Maybe it's their culture and not cruelty?

Chuma, an African name originating from the Igbo tribe in south eastern Nigeria. "Chuma" is a shortened version of the name "Chukwumaobim" meaning God knows my heart and "Chukwuma" meaning God knows.

Come on Pepe... respect our differences. lol

In my language chuka is type of bird, in common language often used to described as somebody who isn't smart

i wasn't really trying to insult anybody but chucka and chuma sound like bubble gums , like chupa chups

it's just funny how words mean different things in different parts of the world. Kurcus from Nets second name in slavic languages means d***k 8-)

Lol if this is true it really would be the most WeHam move ever. So instead of trading our non lottery first this time around we just draft a guy coming off an ACL injury and stash him the entire year.

Would fit right in with our two previous rookies who missed the majority of their rookie seasons too I guess. It must be nice to be able to have as long of a leash and as much patience as Weltman has.

The plan must be to keep Hennigans roster and keep acquiring projects/ injured players so they can never be judged for making real roster decisions.

Okeke looks like he can really fill out and be a bruiser if he is already 6’8 230. Can probably get to 250 easily.

Yeah, he'll only need 5 months to put on 20 lbs of muscle.

why would we/he want to be 250? 20 lbs more muscle would slow him down a bit. Would rather him stay at 230 and be able to play the perimeter more.

propably we need more bulky bigs as everyone know any roster should have at least 14 of them

I think Chuma is like Tobias, and is more of a 3 than a 4.

I’m not sure he should bulk up more - just get ripped like Oladipo did to maximize his agility and instincts

Obviously the elite teams like New York, Orlando, and Sacramento know that the key to any real success lies in having a glut of power forwards and Centers....

It's the offseason. Gaining 20lbs of muscles, losing 15lbs of fat, gaining 2-3 inches in height is the norm in every team.

He has great anticipation. He can read the passing lanes like a book.

Can someone explain his contract situation? We don't know if he has signed and I hear that he may 'redshirt his rookie year'. How would that work? Would he still get paid the full amount of a 1st year contract like normal even though he is not with the team per se as he would be either rehabbing or with the Lakeland team? Would his contract really start the next year? If so why would he agree to it? Can the Magic just say we are not going to sign you until next summer but we will stay pay you as you rehab?

I think there was an agreement between Chuma and Orlando front office that we would draft him first rd and he gets that guaranteed money, but he doesn’t sign his rookie contract this season and signs a g league contract with Lakeland. With his injury he was probably only guaranteed to be an early 2nd Rd pick.

There was talk that another team would draft him after us and if that is the case why would you do that if you are in Chuma's shoes? A G league contract has to be peanuts compared to the going wage of a 1st year first round pick contract. Seems not right that he would give up that money in the first year.
