I've only had mine for ~4 years, but when I was researching chairs I read from several sources that they do easily last 10 years. Used herman millers are an option too. If you go with another brand, definitely look for adjustable lumbar support.

I also am looking for a desk. Some of the furniture stores (Crate and Barrel, etc) have beautiful desks but they never allow for realistic/practical cord management. I don't want to buy a $3,000 desk and then drill a bunch of holes in it the minute I get it. Why is there such a big market for expensive desks that aren't for computers? Ikea has desks that are more thoughtful with airflow and cord management but they're cheap looking IMO. Not sure what else is on the market that I'm missing.

Room and Board: https://www.roomandboard.com/catalog/office/desks

Height adjustable, L-shape, fully customizable, powered desks (like you can plug things into the desk) - full range so long as budget isn't an issue.

I built mine, relatively simply with black iron pipe and a butcher block table. Total cost was less than $200, so I had no qualms adding cable management myself. Even made it adjustable vertically, but I keep it at standing height 99% of the time.

Have been sticking with it on FE after a pep talk. Been trying to breeze through the monestary, advance story as much as possible. And I'm close to the jump and it's getting crazy.

In the FIFA20 Closed Beta and I have to say that the new Volta Football mode seems pretty fun.

Spiderman has been really good, too, though I'm still figuring out the best way to take out large groups of guys at once.

Can anyone give tips on FE combat? I've never played many turn-based games (except Civ) and I'm pretty bad. I even struggled on normal in the mock rivalry battle. I won on my 2nd try, but barely.

I think the biggest thing is to make sure you're positioned correctly, and that especially goes with going in for an attack on a unit you can kill, but then you're left vulnerable after battle. Maybe 4 guys are targeting you now and you're screwed. Definitely pay attention to the attack lines it draws for you as you move you position your units. You tank? Sure, you can leave him more vulnerable. I purposefully use mine as bait because he's bonkers OP, so I can just throw him out with 5 people targeting him and let him do work. But a support unit or more of a glass cannon (super strong, but weak defense)? They should be more careful and only one-shotting/have backup/etc.

Liberally use the features that let you see opposing units' attack and movement ranges. ZR shows all; clicking on units allows you to single-select who you want to see. This should help you with positioning, to not leave vulnerable support or weaker units within enemy attack range.

Make sure you're healing. What house are you? Mercedes is hands-down the best healer in the game, so if you aren't Blue Lions you may want to recruit her, but no matter what house you are you have a healer. Just make sure you aren't leaving them vulnerable. Also, vulneraries are cheap as hell and unlimited so don't feel like you can't use them.

Don't spread yourself out too much while you're getting used to the game. You'll gain confidence in sending 2 or 3 units off on their own, but as you're learning be sure to keep everyone mostly grouped together for better support.

This makes me super stoked.

Ghost War in Wildlands is one of my all-time favorite multi-player modes. This looks really, really good.

No Man's Sky: Beyond is on sale for $35 on Xbox Live. Bought it over the weekend and it's been an absolute blast. I don't know what they all changed from the initial release 3 years ago, but apparently they fixed most of the major gripes that fans had. The crafting/grinding can get a bit tedious but once you get your ship up and running and build a few settlements, it's incredibly addictive and enjoyable.

I've wondered what it would be like to get back into it. I played it through to the "end boss" when it first came out, but I don't think I hunted any of the end-game elder dragons and haven't picked it back up.

So far Death Stranding looks way not for me. A trailer where you rock a baby, do some pissing, slowly chug your way up a hill, need to create a ladder, and just deliver a package wasn't really my idea of a good time I guess.

Hideo Kojima is like the Quentin Tarantino of video games. Right down to the rabid fans that will defend his every weird narrative decision. When everything comes together, he and his team make some truly great games (MGS2, 3, and 5). But dear god, too often do you have to slog your way through endless amounts of tedious activities, dialogue, and cutscenes that sometimes don't even serve a purpose other than to waste time. I'm intrigued by DS but some of the core gameplay elements make me think it's going to be one long, glorified escort mission. Which are, ya know....pretty much the lamest missions in video games.

This is such a great addition to BL3. Any BL vet knows of the situation where you're at a level but all the guns you'd prefer to use are levels below you and they're not really feasible to play efficiently. I can see playing Proving Grounds every handful of levels to re-stock on quality purples or maybe even oranges.

I also love that you'll be able to effectively select which enemy types and weapon types you'll be seeing. Nothing worse than a tough boss battle only to get another **** Jacobs weapon.

The No Man's Sky launch will go down as one of the most disappointing launches in my gaming life. It was literally nothing like they promised, it was buggy, there was no multiplayer, your inventory was so incredibly small for a game that required tons of resources, getting off the first planet was ridiculously hard, no tutorials, it was just a mess.

That being said, the new update has been great. It's actually what the game promised to be just 3 years later. I give them immense amounts of credit for actually working to improve it instead of just calling it a wash. It's a game I hop on when I've exhausted my Overwatch play time.
