The way the Lakers have been operating feels awfully similar to what weve been through.
Big difference is Lebron > Melo and Ad> Stat
Im def intrigued to see how this works out tho lol

Re: Around the Offseason, Take 2
The Media feels that Dolan is the one going out scouting and throwing pitches at free agents. He's the overseer, you bring your plan to him and he makes the decision on whether or not he wants to put his money in on it. That's it. You'll never hear anything bad about him from other players.

Here's a couple things to point out:
Kevin Knox plays for the New York Knicks. Basing your statement off a TMZ roadside interview with a guy who plays for the guy who owns the team is slightly comical. Nobody expects any current Knick to publicly bash the guy who pays them.
Plenty of former players have bashed Dolan - not including Oakley.
The press doesn't like them because he treats them with disdain for reporting that he sucks ass as an owner. Dolan enforces the same rules as Trump - if you criticize me you're my enemy and fake news. It's no wonder he's a big Trump donor. Yet people here will mock Trump for doing it and make jokes about Dolan banning the Daily News.
The bottom line is this: No credible free agent has come here in 20 years and the franchise has also been in shambles for that period of time. If you think that the owner has nothing to do with that then that's on you. Business wise, the Knicks make money. Results wise, they are awful. Being an owner means you hire the right people and make the right decisions. He hasn't done that. He's failed at the one thing an owner needs to be doing and anyone who defends him is only defending failure.

He actually hasn't. That's like saying the CEO of McDonalds is failing at the one thing he supposed to do because his food takes like chit. A CEO is supposed to keep his business profitable at the highest level.
Dolan's court responsibility is merely to allow the basketball people to make basketball decisions and have the needed resources and not dictations.

I don't watch sports to look at how the stock prices are. And I'm sure the stock brokers aren't watching stocks to figure out sports victories and defeats. Stick to basketball. I'm not here to discuss how Radio City and the Forum are doing.

Therefore, you are an idiot.

The Lakers are seriously interested in Dwight Howard, as in “Seriously?!” This is all about appeasing AD who says he doesn’t want to play center. NBA is a bunch of babies really. It’d be so nice if we could develop a good team without babies.

Dolan's court responsibility is merely to allow the basketball people to make basketball decisions and have the needed resources and not dictations.
Dolan's court responsibility is to hire people who aren't idiots. He hasn't done that. Therefore, as a basketball team owner in a results-based business, he sucks immense out of ass.
No amount of times of you telling me he's a billionaire CEO and the Forbes list is going to change that.
I don't watch sports to look at how the stock prices are. And I'm sure the stock brokers aren't watching stocks to figure out sports victories and defeats. Stick to basketball. I'm not here to discuss how Radio City and the Forum are doing.
You just said Dolan has not hired anyone who is not an idiot.
Thus, according to you, Scott Perry is an idiot.
Therefore, you are an idiot.
Let’s win some games and see how those draft picks pan out before you start putting Scott Perry in Jerry West territory. Steve Mills is still his boss, anyway. Unless you forgot.
But stick to name calling. It suits you well.
