you guys have no basis to think sekou won't play if he earns it. this is NOT the SVG era. Casey plays whoever works hard..young or old.

Except for Luke Kennard... Who should've been the starting SG right off the bat last year and should be starting this year and getting 30+ppg. We will see if Casey finally wakes up and let's Kennard flourish.

He missed the majority of the offseason with the knee injury, so they probably wanted to ease him in. Then he hurt his shoulder a few weeks into the season and missed a month. If he is healthy, im sure he'll start at SG from day 1 this year.

Yes, true. I do think he should've been the starter for at least the second half of the season though. And yeah, I really hope you're right about him starting this season too.

it took half the season of Casey telling Luke to stop being nervous and hesitant on offense before he started playing better. Casey prefers someone not afraid to shoot especially if that's what you were drafted to do.

Luked missed a ton of rotations last year and when he started playing with confidence he played.

Coaches like predictable players. So-and-so is going to give me X every night, so if I need X, just plug in so-and-so. That's the only reason a guy like galloway was getting minutes over luke. If you need to space the floor, you put in galloway and he's going to get some 3's up in a hurry. You put in luke and ? For the first half of the year, you didn't really know.

Luke will hopefully be a better and much more well rounded player that galloway going forward, but he needs to hang his hat on his shooting as a first step and the rest of his game will follow.
