RealGM Top 25 Player Poll-#22 2019-20

Your favorite offseason debate is back by popular demand!
Thanks to everyone who voted last go around Im excited to see where the 2nd annual edition ends up.

Here's the Rules:
-Vote ONE player per poll. You'll be able to change your vote just like last year for those indecisive folks.
-The criteria of ranking the players is YOUR OWN. The whole point of bringing this to the GB is to attract the widest amount of votes/perspectives on the game as possible to form a true consensus. Some people value shooting over defense, team success over indivdual prowess etc. I want to bake all that in to this poll set no matter how chaotic.
-Each poll a player will win and then be taken out of the field. There will be 25 polls in all.
-There are only 10 possible poll options so I will start with the 10 guys who I personally believe will round out the top 10 in most people's eyes.
-As each poll commences I ask you to COMMENT IN THE THREAD your vote for who should be added in the next poll. There will be a large list of players yet to be added to the field below that you can look over to make your vote. I will tally up the votes in the comments at the end of each poll and add the winner accordingly. For example, if you want Marc Gasol added in the next poll just comment "Marc Gasol" or "Gasol".
-If a poll is overwhelmingly skewed towards one guy I will try, time willing, to edit it early and move on to the next one.
-If there is a tie in the poll. There will be a run-off poll created with just the tying parties to determine a winner. The losers of the runoff will then be added back into the field of 10 for the next poll.
-Feel free to ask any questions via pm or comment
-Feel Free to comment on your reasoning for a pick and why

Oladipo is out for a while and we don't know if he will be slowed down or not. He's a better player than everyone else left (other than Durant, who is obviously out for the year). I predict an efficiency bump from Mitchell, and Simmons to be roughly the same (very good) player he was before. Siakam is a bit overrated IMO in what he provides 'right now.' He's still really good, but I don't think we are seeing prime Siakam this year...Lowry I expect a bit of regression from, same with Conley, and I don't think Aldridge should be in the top 25 at all. I'm going Mitchell, but could be convinced by many other options.

Siakam finished 24th in RPM last year and 13th in RPM wins and he improved dramatically over the course of the season. He’s only been playing organized basketball for 6 years. I’d expect another big jump next season. He really should have gone 8 or 9 spots ago.

First one where I'm really unsure of who to vote for. Was gonna vote Mitchell then I thought I'd be indy and cote McCollum because I really don't think Mitchell is any better than McCollum, last season anyway.

This list as actually looks alright, only guy I don't like being so high is Draymond but he absolutely destroyed us in the playoffs this year so it's probably my inner hater shining through.

Voted Mccollum but this is between simmons, mitchell and mccollum for me. Mccollum was a top 10 player when it came to this past postseason. Surprised he was added so late, especially after guys like siakam, lowry, conley, cp3, aldridge, and oladipo (if he was healthy i have no issue with this).

I don't know how DeRozan can even be starting to be considered at this point?

A volume scorer who is nowhere near good enough to be your first option, provides no value off the ball, defends horribly and his teams are consistently better with him off the court. He is the most overrated player in the league IMO - and is now a top 35 player at all.

Vote Simmons - I think he has a big year with natural progression, and being able to play in lineups with horford at the 5 all year.

Nominate Fox ( Think he'll have a huge breakout year after progressing fantastically last year)

And to anyone nominating DeRozan - I really question how you can nominate a guy who only provides value being your first option, but is clearly not good enough. He's a volume scorer who can't shoot threes, doesn't provide any sort of value off the ball, is a dreadful defender. How are those traits of a top 35 player? Advanced stats don't like him for a reason.
