Do you really want to address me like that considering I've been one of the prime advocates for patience with Frank from the very beginning?

I still say, I have no problem with that being her end, my problem is how the show got there. They foreshadowed it, but didn't show the character development the right way. They really could have made both the last two episodes their own seasons, let the characters get to that point organically

Spoiler:
Like, have her accidentally burn the city by means of setting off the wildfire caches she doesn't know about, and have her start off in the eyes of the commoners (who don't know any better and think it was intentional) as the bad guy, and have that public resentment boil over to the point where she can no longer tell innocent from enemy and starts going full Mad Queen and burning everyone like daddy. Would've been better than her being sad cause none of the northerners love her

I will never not be pissed at how the show got to that ending

Spoiler:
Also, they should have made it clear that Bran was f*cking manipulating everything to get his way to power. Cause that's what happened in my headcanon, but they don't make it clear. Really tells you something when they take the script they submitted for an Emmy off the internet because everyone realized how stupid it was

Rant over for now

Martin is never finishing the books so you might as well watch the terrible ending of the show to get some closure.

I'm a patient man. I hated the way the show rushed through everything the last season I watched...so...I'll wait...for a little while longer. I do agree...he most likely won't finish the books.

It is hard to do your drills to improve and then only get occasional opportunities to do it in a game. Part of that is not coaching though. Frank has to be more selfish at times.

It is the national team. Maybe because USA#1 - so it really doesn't matter how they play - you guys can't understand that the team comes before the individual. Just as of right now, Frank is growing (in terms of the perception of his teammates (Gobert/Fourier/deColo/Batum)).

I'm not taking shots at you, but you're commenting on the clips - which are of the France national team trying to figure out how to play in a tourney. You may well be right that it would be better for Frank's long term development if he is more selfish at times now. It may also well be right that (and remi_222 posted this opinion a few pages back) that it would be better for the France national team, for this FIBA tourney, if Frank was more selfish at times. But those are different things, and right now the latter - what is good for this current French team - is, presumably, Frank's priority - and certainly the priority of his coach. As usual, the context is important.

Sure. You are one of the dirty dozen high content-per-post posters. However

Clyde_Style wrote: ... He really needs increased shot volume though. ... Frank has to be more selfish at times.

Grinding out your meaning, you probably do mean the above "in the long run" or "next year" or whatever. Because, I think what you mean is that: "in order to improve/solidify/...(whatever)" followed by the stuff in the quote and with "itlr" or "ny" stuck on the end.

Nevertheless, the prepend ellipsis refers to footage of the FRA x ARG game. Moreover, the thread is full of hot takes about what Frank should/should-not be doing right now (in these preparation games) but with a view to what is good for the Knicks/Frank's future development (when whatever happens with the French national team's success, or not, cut out of the picture). So, yes, I did lump your analysis into that generic mix.

Maybe I should have thought more about who was posting, and separated out the different parts of your post. If so, apologies for that.

On the other hand, with even thebuzzardman going apostate (@buzz: not too late to re-rat!), maybe you can understand my heat of the moment repost. ;)
