The place I got has a sixty day window I'm no longer in, which is a huge bummer.

I would say keep it for the next girl since that's probably your best bet financially, but that could lead to some not so fun conversations.

Unless its a family heirloom, I'd say that's a huge no. No woman wants to look at her engagement ring and consider it was meant for someone else.

If I couldn't return it and your ex wouldn't buy it, I'd just put it in a safe deposit box until I needed the cash. Or I'd just sell it to a jeweler and eat the loss.

This is 100% what I plan on doing. The only question is how big a loss am I going to take.

Anyone have any tips on a Three Lakes vacation? Accommodations already established.

We go there every year usually with my fiance's family. We go to Soda Pops for burgers and shakes and Alexander's Pizza (followed by ice cream at the Country Store)...it's the perfect summer weekend dinner spots. Soda Pops is a real old school diner that has some really good burgers, Alexander's pizzas are massive and they have arcade games. If you need dinner plans I highly recommend both.

Other than that we usually stick to hanging out on the water. Beautiful area.

There were like 3 games, if you can call them that, and the rest of the space was filled with pool tables and dart boards. They were awesome in a different era, but I'm surprised to see them still open, specifically that one I ventured into.

I wouldnt drive a long way to get one, but it's definitely tasty. The quality of the chicken is better than I've had elsewhere.

Get yourself the spicy one when you pick it up. I wasn't a fan of the pickles they used, but once I took them off, it was damn good.

This is one reason why I paid $110 to Amazon for an engagement ring. Promised to get an upgrade closer to the date. I've had too many friends in a similar pinch.

I think Wendy's is underrated generally, though they're fooling themselves if they think their chicken sandwich is in the same universe as Popeyes or CFA.

I've had good luck in a pair of Puma suede's. They aren't "classy" per-se, but they look nicer than most tennis shoes and my feet don't get super hot in them (like in a pair of dress shoes)

Johnston & Murphy dress shoes are crazy comfortable. I wear them for work, and also night out or general out-and-about with jeans. They are just so well cushioned and supportive. I've had two different styles and results were the same; I assume it's that way for all, but may not be true.

I wear OriginalGrand cushioned Cole Haan’s everyday and they’re pretty comfy for a somewhat dressy shoe, something like the OrignalGrand Wingtip Oxford.

I could never find comfy work shoes. Then I bought Superfeet insoles and it doesn't matter what shoe I buy. Those things are gamechangers for me.
